It is known that the future celebrity was born in Ireland in 1990. The real name of the musician sounds like Andrew Hozier Byrne.
The guy initially had every chance of becoming a popular musician, because he was born into a musical family. Here, everyone was fond of music - from mom to grandparents.
From a very young age, Hozier began to show a love for music. Parents were not against it, and even on the contrary helped the boy to learn musical culture. Not much time will pass when the artist's first album will be released. Andrew's mom will personally design the album cover and sketch it out.
His father often took little Andrew to various festivals and blues concerts. According to the musician himself: “instead of including an interesting Disney cartoon, dad bought me tickets to concerts of my favorite musicians. It only fueled interest in music."
When the boy was 6 years old, his father underwent a major operation and was confined to a wheelchair. These events greatly influenced Andrew's mind. There was a period when he was reluctant to make contact with others, preferring ordinary communication to playing the guitar.
While studying at school, Andrew participated in all kinds of musical performances. A good ear, a sense of rhythm, a beautiful voice - already in his teens, Hozier began to write his own songs and perform them solo.
A little later, he began performing at various festivals. Such a talent could not be ignored, so Andrew began to recognize members of professional groups. Hozier began to receive offers to work together.
Development of a musical career
After graduating from school, Andrew without thinking twice goes to Trinity College Dublin. But, unfortunately, the young man did not succeed in graduating from college.
Six months later, he decides to leave college. During that period, he begins to work closely with Niall Breslin. The guys began recording their first compositions at the Universal Ireland studio.
A little more time will pass, and the talented musician will be accepted into the Trinity Orchestra symphony orchestra. The symphony orchestra included students and faculty from Trinity College.
Andrew became one of the main performers of the group. Soon the guys release the video "The Dark Side of the Moon" - a cover version of the famous Pink Floyd song. Somehow, the video ends up on the Internet. And then glory fell on Andrew.

A year after the release of this hit, fans were ready to meet the second album - "From Eden". And again, the music artist hits his album straight into the hearts of his fans. In the Irish singles chart, this disc took second place and hit the music charts in Canada, the USA, and Britain.
After the release of the second album, the artist's popularity went far beyond Ireland. The star began to be invited to various programs, including the popular show - The Graham Norton Show, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
In the same year, the artist released his first studio album, which received the modest name "Hozier". After the release of the record, the performer went on a world tour.
