In 2005, the future leaders of the Hurts met on the street after relaxing in a nightclub. While drunken brawls were taking place between the guys' friends, Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson brought up a conversation about music, finding out that they had the same musical tastes. In addition, the guys exchanged information that in their free time they write music and songs.
Music brought them together. From the moment they met, they began to exchange lyrics, and even tried to record the first joint track. They constantly updated information about various music festivals, pursuing the goal of giving their first mini-concert.
In 2006 the dream of young musicians comes true. They manage to make themselves known on The Music Box. This has borne fruit. After the performance, they were noticed by "the right people." Thus, the guys managed to sign a contract with the High label.
This collaboration eventually led to the recording of Dollhouse and After Midnight. It is interesting that initially the duet of the guys was called Daggers. over the years of the existence of this musical group, they managed to record several more singles.
But, unfortunately, apart from the release of several singles and the opportunity to record their tracks, the group did not have any development. But it was this lull that, in a sense, served as an impetus that made the guys move on, and not go with the flow.
A new round of creativity and the birth of the Herts group
Winter 2009. A new group, called Hurts, is entering the musical world. For many music lovers and music critics, the duo was somewhat of a dark horse. Very little time passes, and the guys light up the audience by releasing a song and a video clip Wonderful Life.
Interestingly, the song was originally uploaded to YouTube, and only after it had collected several thousand views, the duo was offered to sign a contract with RCA.
After such a successful start, the guys get into the spotlight. Journalists begin to take an interest in the leaders of the group, the number of fans increases several times, they are invited to various talk shows. Among the popular compositions of that period of time include:

The duet begins to actively work on the release of albums. Between recording songs, the guys are touring all over the world. This makes it possible to expand the number of fans. In addition to concerts, the guys participate in various festivals. In 2010, the guys released the album "Happiness". As an advertisement, the guys released the song Happiness. After a couple of years, Hurts began to work hard on the release of a new album. Producer Jonas Quant was involved in the recording of this record. The album turned out to be very high quality and bright. The second studio compilation "Exile" will be released by 2013.
