Childhood and youth of Isaac Dunayevsky

Isaac Dunayevsky is from Ukraine. He spent his childhood in the small provincial town of Lokhvitsa. The composer's date of birth is January 30, 1900. He was lucky to be brought up in a wealthy family. The head of the family had a small business. The parents raised six children.

Isaac in childhood immediately made it clear to his parents that he was a musical child. He reproduced the most complex melodies by ear and amazed the whole family with the purity of his voice. In a provincial town, Isaac began to attend a music school.

Year 1910 - a large family moved to Kharkov. In the new city, he entered the conservatory. He learned the basics of composition, and also mastered the violin. The father insisted that his son had a more prestigious profession behind him. Isaac entered the university at the Faculty of Law.

Isaac Dunayevsky was never strong in jurisprudence. After graduating from university, he began to realize himself in the creative profession. The musician became a member of the drama theater orchestra. The theater director was strongly impressed by Dunaevsky's abilities. He invited the maestro to compose a work for one of his productions.

Dunayevsky took the chance to show his talent as a composer. A little more time will pass, and he will enter the position of head of the musical part. In the mid-20s of the last century, he moved to Moscow. He expected that here his abilities would be appreciated. Dunayevsky made the right choice. They were glad to see him in almost any Moscow theater.

After moving to Moscow, the composer devoted several years to the prestigious Hermitage Theater. After some time, he entered the service of the Theater of Satire. At the end of the 20s of the last century, he changed his place of residence. He moved to the Northern capital. There he got a position in the local theater.

In a new place, he met the brilliant Leonid Utyosov. Leonid and Isaac seemed to be on the same wavelength. The friendship also developed into a working relationship. Celebrities worked together on the film "Jolly Fellows". Utyosov got the main role in the film, and Dunaevsky worked on the music of the tape.

Interestingly, the film even visited Venice. Foreign judges expressed their admiration after watching the cult Soviet tape. On the wave of popularity and recognition, the composer continues to write musical accompaniment for tapes.

"White Acacia" and "Free Wind" are still considered classics. The presented operettas have not lost their popularity to this day. It is impossible not to mention the overture "Fly, pigeons!", which was performed by members of the children's choir.

Isaac Dunayevsky: Career

Isaak Dunayevsky from the end of the 30s led the Union of Composers in the capital of Russia, and a year later he became a deputy of the Supreme Council of the country. During the Second World War, Dunayevsky led a musical ensemble that traveled throughout the Soviet Union, not giving the people the opportunity, in this difficult time, to drown in despondency and depression.

In the early 40s, he composed the musical composition "My Moscow". In the 50s, Dunayevsky became a People's Artist of the USSR. For Isaac, this was a recognition of his talent and services to the Motherland.

Three years will pass and he will fall in love again. This time, Vera Yureneva settled in his heart. She was 40 years old, she was married, and she liked the attention of a young boyfriend. Soon the courtship of the annoying gentleman bored Vera, and she broke off all communication with him. This hurt Dunayevsky, and he decided to marry in order to take revenge on Yureneva. He married a student who studied with him at the university. A little time will pass, and the young people decided to divorce. The marriage, built on the spot, turned out to be not strong.

In the mid-20s, he met Zina Sudeikina. At the time of their acquaintance, she worked as a ballerina.

After some time, the couple got married. The woman gave birth to Dunayevsky's son. By the way, Eugene (son of the composer) also chose a creative profession for himself. Engaged in fine arts.

He was a family man, but the situation could not quench his ardor. Repeatedly cheated on his wife.

Natalya Gayarina took possession of her heart and thoughts so much that he was thinking about a divorce, but a wise wife saved her husband from a rash decision.

Love relations of Isaac Dunayevsky

Some time later, he fell in love with L. Smirnova. She worked as an actress. She was favorably distinguished by external data. She was the perfect woman. Smirnova was also married, but this prevented her from building a love relationship with Isaac.

Smirnova's husband tried in every possible way to prevent this union, but Dunaevsky found ways to communicate with his beloved. He even invited her to marry him, but Smirnova refused him, referring to the fact that she had lost feelings for him.

He was defeated and wounded, but soon the suffering was replaced by a new mistress. In the 40s, he was seen in a relationship with Zoya Pashkova. She gave him a son.

Death of a maestro

July 22, 1955 he died. The lifeless body of the maestro was discovered by the driver, who went up to his room. It was rumored that Dunaevsky voluntarily decided to die. There was also a version of the murder, but no confirmation of this has been found to this day.

Doctors said the cause of death was heart failure. The farewell ceremony took place at the Novodevichy Cemetery (Moscow).
