The combination is a Soviet and then Russian pop group, founded in 1988 in Saratov by the talented Alexander Shishinin. The musical group, which consisted of attractive soloists, became a real sex symbol of the USSR. The voices of the vocalists came from apartments, cars and discos.
It is rare that a musical group can boast that the president himself dances to his tracks. But the Combination group can. The video, which hit the net in 2011, literally blew up YouTube. In the video, Dmitry Medvedev, who was then head of the Russian Federation, danced to the song "American Fight".
The combination is always incendiary music, maximum drive and less philosophy. The musical group was quickly able to win its portion of popularity.
Group composition Combination
In the history of the musical group Combination - the whole history of this time is buried. Let's start with the fact that the former millionaire became the creator and then the producer of the group. Alexander Shishinin served as an operative in the OBKhSS before he left law enforcement. Before the Combination, the man managed to work as an administrator of the Integral ensemble.
"Integral" belonged to the famous Bari Alibasov. It was he who led Shishinin to the idea that it was possible to create the second version of the Tender May group, only in a girlish performance. Alexander liked this idea, so he had little left - to find suitable candidates who would take a place in his musical group.
Shishinin invites Vita Okorokova to cooperate. Young and aspiring producers were only 25 years old. They did not conduct professional castings, but selected candidates almost on the street. Very soon, the brightest vocalist Tatyana Ivanova will join the group. At the time of the meeting, the girl was only 17 years old.
The producers began to look for a partner for Tatyana. The second vocalist was Lena Levochkina, a student at the local conservatory. Later, the girl admits that she entered the conservatory only the second time, so she valued the educational institution.
A few years after working in the Combination group, Lena Levochkina decided to take a creative pseudonym. Now she was known as Alena Apina. For the "star" name, the artist took the name of her first husband.
The first composition of the group Combination
The first composition of the musical group consisted of a student of the Saratov Musical College Sveta Kostyko (keys) and Tanya Dolganova (guitar), a resident of Engels Olga Akhunova (bass guitar), Saratov resident Yulia Kozyulkova (drums).
As popularity grew, the composition of the team was constantly changing. Music critics note that about 19 people are listed as former members. The producers intentionally changed the composition in order to arouse interest among fans.
The loudest departure from the Combination group occurred in 1990, when Alena Apina left the team. Alena met producer Iratov, a strong romance began between them. Producer Combinations such a stunt count as betrayal. Apina had no choice but to leave the Combination, starting a solo career.
Apina's solo career developed much better than as a member of the Combination. In 1990, Alena released the musical composition "Ksyusha", and a little later the debut album "First Street" was released, which includes the track "Accountant". Since that time, Apina is no longer connected with the Combination team in any way.
In place of Apina, an unknown Tatyana Okhomush comes to the group. She stayed in the musical group so little that she did not even have time to leave a “musical” mark behind her. She managed to record the only song with the girls - "From a high hill."
Soon the producers spotted Svetlana Kashina, who began working in the group in 1991. Svetlana was the soloist of the group for about 3 years. Since 1994, Tatyana Ivanova has remained the only vocalist of the musical group.

In 1988, the Combination officially presents its debut album, entitled "Knight's Move". The first album becomes viral and flies around all corners of the Soviet Union.
In the same 1988, the musical group threw the second disc to the formed fans, which was called "White Evening". The musical group began to organize their first concerts in their native Saratov.
Okorokov understands that the girls of the musical group are in the spotlight, so on this wave he is working on creating new tracks.
Thus, such songs as “Do not forget”, “Fashionista” and “Russian Girls” are born in the music world. The latter, gets into the hearts of the listeners, turning Combinations into hitmakers of the all-Union scale. Following this, the musical group releases another album - "Russian Girls".
The combination wrote several compositions for the film "Muzzle", in which Dmitry Kharatyan played the main role. At that time, the Combination was already known far beyond the borders of the Soviet Union. The peak of the popularity of the musical group falls on 1991.
In 1991 the group moved to Moscow. The next album of the musical group is called "Moscow registration". “Love leaves slowly”, the legendary “American boy” (the erroneous name is “Balalaika”), as well as “Accountant” - instantly become hits.
The combination becomes the number one musical group. Interestingly, the girls managed to conquer not only the musical Olympus, but also fashionable. During the dawn of the group, the fans imitated the soloists in everything - they also made a high bouffant, lacquered their hair and applied defiant makeup.
Being at the peak of popularity, the Combination goes to conquer American listeners. The group went to America, where they held a series of bright concerts for music lovers.

The combination does not release any more albums. However, the girls are constantly participating in retro projects dedicated to the music of the 90s and touring the country.
In 2019, the group released a disc with their old hits - “Favorite 90s. Part 2".
