Lavika is the creative pseudonym of the singer Lyubov Yunak. The girl was born on November 26, 1991 in Kyiv. Lyuba's environment confirms that creative inclinations pursued her from early childhood.
Lyubov Yunak first appeared on stage when she was not yet attending school. The girl performed on the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine.
Then she prepared a dance number for the audience. In addition to choreography, little Yunak was engaged in vocals.
Lyuba's childhood passed in a creative family. Therefore, it is not surprising that Yunak connected her later life with creativity and music. In one of the interviews, the singer said:
“My family, as well as myself, knew that I couldn’t imagine my life without a stage. Thanks to my parents who supported my creativity in every possible way. As a child, what I just did not do - dancing, ballet, drawing, singing. It helped me open up…”
After leaving school, Lyuba became a student at two higher educational institutions at once. The purposeful girl studied at the Kiev University named after T. G. Shevchenko, where she received a diploma in psychology, as well as in DAKKKiM, from where she took with her the “crust” of a professional choreographer.

Love remembers the years of study in higher educational institutions as the best. After a long study, Yunak studied vocals in depth and wrote songs on her own. The creative pseudonym of Lavik was first recognized by the public in 2011.
In 2011, the Ukrainian singer presented the first musical composition "Platinum Color Happiness" to music lovers. The track appeared thanks to the efforts of the recording studio Moon Records.
It cannot be said that the debut song “shot” and thanks to it Lavika gained popularity. This fact did not affect Luba's desire to create, write and record tracks.
Soon Lavika released another song "Eternal Paradise". It was thanks to this track that the singer was noticed, and she gained her first fans. The song for several months in a row occupied a leading position in the music charts of Ukraine.
After the release of the second composition, everyone learned about Lavik. The creativity and significance of the singer constantly increased, and over time, the star began to appear new compositions. A new star has lit up on the Ukrainian stage, whose name is Lavika.
Surge in popularity and awards
The popularity of the Ukrainian performer increased significantly after receiving the Breakthrough of the Year award - the Crystal Microphone award. From now on, Lavika's authority on the Ukrainian stage has only strengthened.
Thanks to receiving a prestigious award, popular Ukrainian directors drew attention to her. Soon, Lavika's videography was replenished with several video clips that gained millions of views on YouTube video hosting.
On December 29, 2011, singer Lavika recorded her debut album "Heart in the Shape of the Sun" on the Ukrainian label Moon Records. The release included three collections - an album with 15 tracks, the CD "Everybody Dance" with hits and a DVD with a biopic about Lavik.
In 2012, the singer presented a video clip for the musical composition “Spring in the City”. According to the first study in Ukraine, Billboard Chart Show, in the first few weeks of showing this video, it became the most rotated on the air of Ukrainian television.
The video was filmed in Istanbul. The director was Alexander Filatovich, who managed to work with such stars as: Alexander Rybak, Vitaly Kozlovsky, Alexander Ponomarev, singer Alyosha, group Nikita.
In 2014, the presentation of the new single "I'm Near" took place. Soon the singer also presented an English version of the song, which was called Don't Let Me Go. The aforementioned director Alexander Filatovich worked on the clip. It is noteworthy that the video was also released in two versions at once.
A little later, the presentation of the new track "Native People" took place. Fans and music lovers noted that the sound and presentation of the songs had changed. In the composition "Native People" the musical genre of dance-pop is clearly audible.

2014 in the life of Lavika can be safely called the year of romance. This year, the singer presented another track, which was called "Me or She". The lyrical and soulful song could not leave indifferent any representative of the weaker sex, for which she managed to take the 1st position in the country's music charts for a long time.
In 2015, the singer's discography was replenished with the second studio album "On the Edge of Heaven". The second album was also recorded at Moon Records. The collection was released on August 15, 2015.
In 2016, the singer took part in the National selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. On stage, Lavika presented the musical composition Hold Me to the jury and the audience. However, in 2016, the victory was not on the side of Lavika. Jamala went to represent Ukraine, who sang the song "1944" and won 1st place at the Eurovision Song Contest.

None of the parties share the reasons for the breakup. In one of the interviews, Lavika only said that they did not agree with Borisenko in character.
