In 1981, Korolev received a summons to the army. The young man served in the missile forces in Belarus. And here he did not leave his favorite hobby - creativity. Victor played in the staff orchestra.
In 1984, Victor made his dream come true - he became a student at the Higher Theater School (Institute) named after. Shchepkin at the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia.
In 1988, Korolev graduated from an educational institution. He was hired by the theater of the musical Yuri Sherling.
In the same period of time, Korolev began acting in films. His debut came in 1990 with Claudia Cardinale as the queen, The Battle of the Three Kings directed by Suheil Ben-Barka (a story about the war in Morocco).
Then there were films: "Silhouette in the window opposite" (1991-1992), "Playing" Zombies "" (1992-1993). Viktor Korolev looked harmonious on the screen. However, he was not let go by the dream of performing and singing on stage. Soon he made this dream a reality.
The creative path and music of Viktor Korolev
Victor worked in the theater for several months. This was enough to realize that he wanted to devote himself to music.
In the early 1990s, Korolev became a diploma winner at the Golden Deer International Festival (Romania). After that, a biographical film was released about Korolev.
Then Victor was in search of himself. Here it is recognition, the first popularity, but ... something was missing. The artist said that this is the most difficult, but at the same time the happiest period in his life.
In 1997, Korolev presented the first video clip for the composition "Bazaar-Station" (animated work by Maxim Sviridov). The clip was liked not only by chanson lovers, but also by ordinary music lovers.

“Since 1997, my life has changed dramatically. Life began to fly just like crazy. I'm not exaggerating. And if one of my songs touched you at least a little, then I am happy not as an artist, but as a person.
Collaboration with other artists
Viktor Korolev is not against bold experiments. He repeatedly appeared on stage with Irina Krug (wife of the late chansonnier Mikhail Krug). Together with her, Korolev performed lyrical songs. The brightest song of the duet was the composition "Bouquet of White Roses".
In addition, Victor recorded the tracks “Redhead Girl”, “You Got Me” with the Vorovayki team (a group that belongs to producer Almazov).
And although the girls position themselves as chansonettes, most of the songs still belong to pop compositions.
In 2008, Korolev, as well as other representatives of the stage (Mikhail Shufutinsky, Mikhail Gulko, Belomorkanal, Ruslan Kazantsev), recorded a solo disc with the soloist of the Vorovayki band, Yana Pavlova.
