The real name of the king of Russian chanson is Mikhail Vorobyov. The future star was born in 1962 in Tver. Despite the fact that later Mikhail began to work in such a genre as chanson, the boy was raised in a very intelligent family. His mother was an accountant and his father worked as an engineer.

Parents named the boy in honor of his grandfather-front-line soldier. The Vorobyov family crowded into a small barracks. In this area, there could be no question of the development of the musical taste of little Mikhail. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a driver.

In addition to the desire to buy his own car and become a driver, Mikhail was very fond of the work of Vladimir Vysotsky. He sang his musical compositions. When the boy was 11 years old, his parents gave him a guitar. Little Misha's neighbor showed him some chords. And after some time, the Circle began to write music and poetry on its own.

One day, little Misha sang his own song to the guitar. His work was heard by a music school teacher. He noted the boy's talent and suggested that his parents send Misha to study. But at that moment, the Vorobyovs could not afford it. However, Mikhail entered the budget department in the class of playing the button accordion.

Mikhail Krug was very fond of playing musical instruments. But visiting solfeggio caused him only one desire - to escape from class. The boy had enough patience for 6 years. He left the music school without a diploma in his hands.

Education never interested Michael. He often ran away from lessons. The only thing he liked was music and playing sports. Misha was fond of playing hockey and football. Krug was as a goalkeeper.

After receiving secondary education, Vorobyov entered a vocational technical school as a car mechanic. The guy liked the lesson at the school. It was what he dreamed of. After college, Mikhail was drafted into the army, he served in the Sumy region.

After the army, Mikhail's dream came true. He became a carrier of dairy products for ordinary people and for the "tops". Once Krug almost got under the article. He decided to swap dairy products for party organs and ordinary people. Dairy products for the common people were very different from those for the elite. Such a trick could have cost Mikhail dearly, but everything worked out.

After Mikhail got married, his wife insisted on getting a higher education. Misha entered the Polytechnic Institute, which became the starting point for the start of Krug's musical career. Soon he dropped out of university and took up creativity.

The beginning of the musical career of the Circle

Mikhail Krug took the first steps towards popularity while still studying at the Polytechnic Institute. As a student, he learned about the art song contest. The circle did not dare to take part for a long time, but his wife persuaded him.

At the competition, a young guy sang the song "Afghanistan". Despite a significant number of contestants, Mikhail won.

Inspired by Mikhail in 1989, he chose the creative pseudonym "Circle" for himself and began work on his first album. The debut disc was called "Tver Streets".

It is known that he recorded this disc at one of the studios of his hometown. The debut album included the composition "Frosty Town", which Krug dedicated to the place where he spent his childhood and youth.

At the beginning of his musical career, the king of Russian chanson met the Metalist instrumentalists. Soon the guys created a new group "Companion". The musicians gave their first concert at the Old Castle restaurant in 1992. Later, the presented musical group participated in the creation of all the albums of Mikhail Krug.

Mikhail Krug received his first large-scale popularity thanks to his second album Zhigan-Lemon. Interestingly, from a commercial point of view, the second disc was a "failure". Its author did not receive a penny on the record, but he invested a lot.

The second album featured tracks that contained thug slang. It is known that Mikhail Krug was not in prison.

This thieves' slang appeared thanks to the NKVD 1924 internal use book, which Krug bought at a flea market. The tracks of the album "Zhigan-Lemon" instantly became hits, and Mikhail Krug received the status of "King of Russian Chanson".

The performers of the chanson genre noted the professionalism of the rising star. The compositions of Mikhail Krug were very popular with people who were in prison. Very often Krug gave free concerts in prisons.

In 1996, Mikhail Krug released his third album, Live String. A year later, the king of Russian chanson went on his first world tour. His first appearance in Europe was participation in the Russian Chanson in Germany festival.

1996 is also known for the fact that Mikhail expanded the composition. He took the soloist Svetlana Ternova to him, and also began to perform songs by Alexander Belolebedinsky. In the same year, the debut video clip "It was yesterday" was released.

The album "Madam" was released in 1998. This disc included one of the most popular works of the Circle "Vladimir Central". Even though the song was popular among ordinary people, the inmates criticized it. In their opinion, the track "Vladimirsky Central" had a lot of lyrics and romanticism.

Mikhail again went on tour in 1998. This time he visited the United States of America. And in 2000, the king of Russian chanson presented the sixth album "Mouse" and went on a tour of Israel.

Since 2001, Krug has been seen collaborating with Vika Tsyganova. The artists managed to record the compositions: “Come to my house”, “Two destinies”, “White snow”, “Swans”. In 2003, Mikhail recorded the last album "Confession".

Death of Mikhail Krug

On the night of July 1, 2002, unknown people broke into the house of Mikhail Krug. The criminals beat the singer's mother-in-law, the wife managed to hide in the neighbors' house, and the children were not touched because they slept in the children's room. Mikhail received several gunshot wounds.

In the ambulance, he was conscious, even joking with the doctors. But, unfortunately, his life was interrupted the next day. The investigation into the death of the king of chanson lasted more than 10 years.
