To increase the effect and popularize their work, the group went on the radio. In the summer, Monsta X performed at a Korean group convention held in Los Angeles. In September, the musicians released their second mini-album. He immediately took the 1st position of the music chart and thanks to him the group received several awards.
The following year, the musicians continued to be active. They were again invited to perform at KCON and later visit Japan. Their album entered the top 10 best-selling albums. The third work was released in May and hit the top Billboard. The popularity has increased rapidly. They were invited to China to take part in dance competitions.
Another mini-album was released in autumn. To support him, the musicians announced the start of a series of fan meetings in Asian countries.
One of the most important events of 2016 is the Japanese tour. As a result, they enlisted the support and love of local music lovers.
Group popularity
The peak of the boy band's fame was in 2017. The activities of the group were noted by the most prestigious awards in Korea. Musicians were sent many offers with advertising contracts. One of the most famous is a proposal for cooperation with the Italian brand Kappa.
The band's first studio album was released the same year. He instantly took the 1st position of the world hit parade of music albums. In the summer, the performers went on their first world tour. And visited 11 countries with 18 concerts. Later, they filmed several music videos and performed at the next Japanese festival.
The first big tour inspired the musicians. In March 2018, they released their sixth mini album and announced a second tour. A year later, a third was organized. After the second round, the second full-length disc was released.
Monsta X activity today
In 2019, the band released a LP, which included the composition Alligator. It became the main song and was very popular. A year later, an important event for the group took place - the first album in English was released. The event took place on Valentine's Day - February 14th.
Critics talk about a significant difference between the group's English tracks. Melodies and rhythms are softer, calmer, unlike Korean ones. The album once again demonstrated the versatility and versatility of talent. In support of the album, Monsta X traveled to the United States, where they took part in several music shows. And a little later, the musicians starred in an American cartoon.
Three months later, another surprise awaited the "fans" - another mini-album with seven tracks.

- Hyungwon is the main dancer among the guys. He previously studied choreography professionally at the dance academy.
Previously, the guys performed as a group of seven, but Wonho left and continued his solo career.
