Childhood and youth

Natalya was born on May 20, 1982 in Mogilev (Belarusian SSR) in an intelligent family of a lawyer and head of the exhibition center. The girl also has a twin sister, as well as a younger brother and sister.

The girl showed interest in music very early. The girl had an ideal ear for music, had a clear and memorable voice. And her parents began to develop her in a creative direction and enrolled her in the Raduga theater studio. There she studied until graduation from school, taking prizes in all music competitions.

Then the young artist was invited to sing in the famous studio "W" (at the Mogilev Musical and Choreographic Lyceum). There, Natalya won her first serious television competition "Zornaya Rostan" and received the Grand Prix. She then won the Golden Fest in Poland. In 2002, the artist performed in the national competition "At the Crossroads of Europe" and became its finalist.

In parallel with her musical career, Podolskaya studied law at the Belarusian National University, from which she graduated with honors.

Natalia Podolskaya: The beginning of creativity and popularity

In 2002, after much thought, Natalya decided not to connect her life with jurisprudence, but to devote herself to music. She went to Moscow and entered the Moscow Institute of Contemporary Arts in the vocal department. Tamara Miansarova herself became her mentor.

The artist became popular after the festival "Slavianski Bazaar", which was held in Vitebsk in 2002. Then Natalia decided to conquer Europe and took part in the international music competition Universetalent Prague 2002. Here she won in two categories - "Best Song" and "Best Performer".

In 2004, Podolskaya decided to take part in the selection for the Eurovision Song Contest from Belarus. But she did not make it to the finalists. But in the same year, she successfully passed the casting for the Star Factory project and took 3rd prize.

The debut album of the artist "Late" was released in 2002. It consists of 13 compositions, the authors of which are Viktor Drobysh, Igor Kaminsky, Elena Styuf. The song "Late" for a long time was in the top 5 best songs in many national charts.

Participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005

Podolskaya made her second attempt to enter the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005. But this time she was selected not from Belarus, but from Russia. The performer reached the final and took 1st place. As a result, she got the opportunity to represent the country at the international level with the song Nobody Hurt No One.

The competition was held in Kyiv. But in front of him, the producers arranged a big promotional tour for the artist in European countries. A single of the contest song was also released, consisting of four tracks. At the Eurovision Song Contest, Natalia Podolskaya took 15th place. Natalya experienced her failure for a very long time and considered it her personal fiasco.

Continuation of creativity and new works

After the Eurovision Song Contest, the star decided not to give up. According to her, although she lost, the competition taught her a lot, made her be strong and look at show business differently. In 2005, she released a new hit "One". The video for it took 1st place in the MTV hit parade. In 2006, Podolskaya presented the next song, "Light a Fire in the Sky." This composition also became very popular and for a long time occupied a leading position in the music charts. 

In the following years, the artist actively developed her creative career. She released new albums with unchanged hits, which were sung not only in Russia, but also in neighboring countries. The singer collaborated with Vladimir Presnyakov, Alena Apina, Anastasia Stotskaya. The song “Be a part of yours”, performed together with Presnyakov, Agutin and Varum, which was performed for the first time at the New Wave contest, stayed at the top of the Russian Radio hit parade for several months.

In 2008, Natalia Podolskaya received the citizenship of the Russian Federation.

In 2010, the singer did not renew her contract with producer Viktor Drobysh. She began to experiment in the world of show business. The first work in the new style of progressive trance was the track Let's Go. It was recorded with the Israeli project Noel Gitman. In the same year, the star became the laureate of the Song of the Year festival.

In 2013, the artist worked with DJ Smash. Then the album "New World" was released, where their joint song was the title track. The next solo album of the singer "Intuition" was also released in 2013. There were works in different musical styles - pop-rock, ballad, pop.

The singer's first serious relationship was with the author and composer of her songs I. Kaminsky. The man was older than Natalya, but he helped her in many ways in her professional development. The couple lived in a civil marriage for almost 5 years. But the age difference and constant disagreements led to a scandalous break in relations.

In 2005, on one of the television shows, friends introduced Natalya to the famous performer Vladimir Presnyakov. The man was then officially married to Elena Lenskaya. There was first a professional friendship between the artists, which grew into joint work, and then into a stormy romance.

Constant filming, secret meetings between Vladimir and Natalya led to the fact that the singer left home and began to think about a divorce. Soon, the artists stopped hiding and hiding their feelings, rented a joint apartment and actively recorded duet songs. Vladimir's friends quickly accepted Natalya. Angelika Varum and Leonid Agutin (best friends) even offered to sing with a quartet at one of the music festivals.

Wedding and official relations

Roman Vladimir Presnyakov and Natalia Podolskaya lasted 5 years. Only in 2010 did the man make an official marriage proposal to his beloved. The wedding of the couple took place in one of the temples of Moscow. And the ceremony at the registry office was luxurious. The newlyweds really dreamed of a child, and in 2015 the first-born son Artemy was born.

Now the couple lives in a large country house, is raising an heir and further developing a musical career. Information appeared in the media that Natalia and Vladimir were expecting their second child, who should be born soon.
