The beginning of Nico De Andrea's career

Nico de Andrea "burst" into the world of electronic music at a very young age. But this did not lead to star disease. The musician took his work seriously.

The early works of the young composer were strongly influenced by the early representatives of techno and house. Under their impression, the DJ created his first tracks.

He does not like to record songs, preferring to work live. Therefore, Niko does not yet have an impressive discography. He enjoys improvisation and playing in public.

But for the "promotion" of his own name, de Andrea recorded his best tracks and made a vivid video sequence. Video clips are highly rated on YouTube.

The first single recorded by the DJ was Ailleurs, which was recorded in 2011 and consisted of three remixes for one song. Translated from French, the disc was called "Elsewhere".

The disc was recorded in the house genre, well appreciated by the public and numerous critics. The musician was noticed by producer Mikhail Kanitrot and invited Niko to his traveling So Happy in Paris parties.

Show So Happy in Paris

The concept of itinerant parties was coined by Michael Canitrot in 2000. The idea was to have the show in different locations.

Thus, the musician and producer wanted to show that the program is constantly changing, and each new party is not like the other. In 2005 Nico de Andrea joined the show.

Musicians, dancers and DJs created their parties in iconic Parisian places: L'Olympia on the Boulevard des Capucines, La Coupole on Montparnasse, in the Madeleine Plaza club, and others.

With each new season, So Happy In Paris has expanded its geography. At first, Kanitrot and Nico de Andrea DJed in Saint-Tropez, Monaco, Leon and Cannes.

The show then took on an international standard. The musicians offered their sets in Ibiza, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada and the USA. The 10th anniversary of So Happy in Paris was celebrated in the main symbol of Paris - the Eiffel Tower.

On December 14, 2010, Nico de Andrea played his program for VIP guests on the first floor of the world-famous building. The talent of the young man was highly appreciated by the assembled stars.

Features of the musical genre

Nico de Andrea is one of those DJs who always put a melody at the heart of their tracks. That is why the musician at home plays for hours the works of famous composers of the past - Beethoven, Mozart and Bach.

Drawing inspiration from the melody of their work, Niko creates his masterpieces.

When listening to the tracks of Nico de Andrea, first of all, you can hear the original sound. The music is generally pleasant and would be appropriate in any club. The DJ has his own style, which is of interest from the first chords.

Of course, as it often happens, young DJs are always compared with more experienced colleagues and look for notes of famous masters in their tracks.

If necessary, Nico de Andrea can always hear something from Armin van Buuren or Tiësto. But this only indicates the good taste of the musician.

Modern trance is a hybrid of the progressive and house genres. And Nico de Andrea successfully works at the intersection of these genres. In his tracks there is no emphasis on dynamics, as is heard in the tracks of the above-mentioned masters.
