In 1990, Nino received a diploma of secondary education. In the same year, she entered the Batumi Musical Institute named after Paliashvili.

In the mid-90s, Nino tried his hand at charity work. Katamadze became the main founder of the relief fund. The foundation did not last long. After 4 years it had to be closed.

In the late 90s, Nino Katamadze collaborated with the Insight musical group, making friends with its leader Gocha Kacheishvili. One of the most famous joint compositions was the song Olei (“With love”).

It was this collaboration that allowed Nino to gain his portion of popularity. In 2000, Katamadze already has fans in his native Georgia. Popularity in her native country allows the singer to tour abroad. Performances abroad allowed the singer to gain worldwide recognition.

Nino's debut performance in the capital of Russia was a performance at the ethno-rock festival "Peace in Transcaucasia". At this time, the singer acted as an accompanist for a fashion show of the countries of the Caucasus.
