Odara is a Ukrainian singer, wife of the composer Yevhen Khmara. In 2021, she abruptly launched her singing career. Daria Kovtun (real name of the artist) became the finalist of "Sing everything!", and, among other things, released the full-length longplay of the same name.
By the way, the artist tries not to focus on the fact that her name is inseparable from the name of the star spouse. She and Eugene are a strong tandem. The couple often work together. They complement each other, but at the same time remain independent artists with their own unique flavor.
“I have always been a part of my husband's concerts, but not because I have no ambition. All artists want recognition and fame. But I was not offended that Eugene might be more famous. That's the way it should be. When we perform together with him, we complement each other ... ”, says Kovtun.

The artist's date of birth is March 15, 1991. She was born in the very heart of Ukraine - the city of Kyiv. Daria was brought up in an ordinary, average Kyiv family.
Kovtun's main childhood hobby was music. In addition to general education, she also attended a music school. By the way, Yevgeny Khmara also studied at the music school, which Kovtun was engaged in. At first, the guys were just friends, there was not even a hint of a love relationship between them.
Daria was a diligent student. The girl had a unique hearing and voice. Teachers as one prophesied Kovtun a good career on the big stage. After receiving a matriculation certificate, Daria applied to the Kiev National Economic University. What exactly influenced the choice of the girl remains a mystery. Perhaps the parents insisted on receiving an economic education.

She has been singing for 5 years. Daria found great support in the person of her then "just friend" - Evgeny Khmara. In 2013, the girl decided to loudly declare her talent. Kovtun took part in the musical project "X-Factor".
For the casting in Odessa, she chose and performed the musical work Mireille Mathieu Pardonne-moi ce caprice d'enfant. The judges unanimously said “yes” to the Ukrainian talent.
In the end, Daria became a member of the project. On The X Factor, she managed to acquire an impressive number of fans. Alas, but one step before the final - Kovtun dropped out of the music show. Note that for 8 broadcasts she was the ward of the judge of the project - rapper Seryoga.
Participation in the competition "Sing everything!"
Further, a period of calm began in the career of the Ukrainian singer. Only in 2021 the silence was broken. She took part in another rating music show "Sing everything!" (“Everyone sing!”). She not only ended up in the project, but also reached the final.
First, Daria performed the track, which is included in the repertoire of Maxim Fadeev - “Will I become happier” and received 97 points from the judges. For the vocal duel, she chose the composition "Forest Deer". With her performance, Daria brought the Ukrainian singer Natalia Mogilevskaya to tears.
In mid-October 2021, it turned out that the winner of the project was a young singer from sunny Odessa - MUAYAD. It was he who won and took the winnings of half a million hryvnia.
Participation in the project inspired Daria. She came to "freedom" with a large army of fans, which allowed her to start recording her debut solo LP. Then she tried on the creative pseudonym Odara. Today, her career has taken a sharp turn. Daria is happy to share her emotions with the "fans": "There are many interesting surprises ahead of you."

At the end of October 2021, Odara delighted fans with a big solo concert for the first time. “I’ll tell you, regardless of those who are not my first step in life, I think and praise were like that, you won’t become me for the first time. Essentially, yes. Previously, I sang the concert, de 90% of the songs are author's and for the ear of the ear, absolutely new ... ”, the singer commented. Around the same period of time, she presented a video for the track "Water Alive".
