The history of the creation and composition of the Picnic group
The history of the Picnic team began with the fact that in 1978 Zhenya Voloshchuk and Alexei Dobychin created the Orion group. The musicians managed to interest the first grateful listeners.
Later, a drummer, guitarist and flutist joined the guys. In this composition, the Orion team began to give the first concerts in their hometown.
A few years later, the new team broke up. Some of the musicians went into a solo career, and someone decided to leave the music altogether. Eugene and Alexei were left alone again.
The musicians did not want to leave the stage. Their plans were to create a new team. Soon fortune smiled upon them. The artists met Edmund Shklyarsky, who later became the ideological inspirer and main soloist of the Piknik group.
The musicians continued to rehearse diligently. They did not leave the idea that they are developing in the right direction. Soon new musicians joined the band.
The group "Picnic" presented the first album "Smoke". The collection marked the beginning of the professional career of the rock band, but Shklyarsky says that the band gained recognition and popularity a little later.
During the existence of the group, the composition changed from time to time. At the moment, the Piknik group is Edmund Shklyarsky (permanent vocalist, author of most musical compositions and a talented guitarist), drummer Leonid Kirnos, Edmund Shklyarsky's son - Stanislav Shklyarsky, as well as bass guitarist and backing vocalist Marat Korchemny.
The team has assistants, whose name is unknown, who are responsible for organizing an enchanting show.
Creative way and music of the Piknik group
The album, thanks to which the Picnic group enjoyed immense popularity and recognition, was called Wolf Dance. The collection turned out to be mature, professional and subsequently legendary.
The compositions of this collection, according to the soloists themselves, are the revived stories of Nathaniel Hawthorne and Edgar Poe. The songs that were included in the album impressed fans of heavy music. In honor of the second album, the band went on a big tour.
"Picnic" is a provocation. With the increase in popularity, the musicians often had problems with law enforcement.
Moreover, the government considered their work provocative and aggressive, and therefore the Picnic group was blacklisted for some time.
It seems that the soloists of the group were not very worried about the opinion of the “tops”. They continued to write lyrics with the same urge and provocation in every line.
Soon the group "Picnic" pleased the fans of their work with the third studio album "Hieroglyph". This collection finally confirmed the high status of the musical group.

In 1991, the musicians returned to the band again and released the next disc, Harakiri.
The next years for the group "Piknik" is the time of work on replenishing the discography. First, a collection of hits by the rock band "Collection Album" appeared.
In 1995, the group presented the collection "A Little Fire", and in 1996 the disc "Vampire Songs" was released.
The last album became No. 1 in the discography of the rock band. What are the songs “Only for a Vampire in Love”, “Hysteria” and “White Chaos” worth, which do not lose their relevance to this day.
Vocalist Andrei Karpenko, who has never been part of the group, took part in the recording of the collection "Vampire Songs". Andrey performed half of the "composition" of the collection "Vampire Songs".
Group in the 2000s
In the early 2000s, the collection "Egyptian" was released. The musicians noted that this is "an album of one song." According to the soloists, "The Egyptian" is exactly the case when the whole meaning of the album is in one track.
It was with the release of the Egyptian album that the group began to arrange pyrotechnic shows at concerts. A year later, "Picnic" replenished the discography with the next album "Alien".

Group tour
After the presentation of the album, the musicians went on a tour of Russia and foreign cities.
In 2007, the soloists of the group presented the album Obscurantism and Jazz. In the same year, the musicians celebrated their 25th anniversary. At the festive concert in honor of the anniversary were invited: "Bi-2", "Kukryniksy", as well as Valery Kipelov (former soloist of the popular band "Aria").
A year later, the rock band's discography was replenished with the Iron Mantras collection. In 2008, cover versions of the song "Gentle Vampire" by Nautilus Pompilius appeared.
"Rehashing" was appreciated by fans, noting that the cover version turned out to be more "juicy" performed by the frontman of the "Picnic" group.
And then several years of silence followed. In 2010, the band presented the album "Theater of the Absurd" to fans of heavy music. Not only the title song was popular, but also the tracks "Doll with a Human Face" and "Wild Singer".
The group "Picnic" went on a long tour, not forgetting to update the concert program.
Since then, the band has released several albums almost every year. The musicians delighted fans with new records, collections of old but favorite tracks.
And the group "Piknik" released an album on which cover versions of songs by other popular artists were posted.
2016-2017 the team spent on a large tour. The musicians gave concerts throughout Russia and abroad for a reason. The fact is that the group, thus, celebrated another anniversary - 25 years since the creation of the rock band.
Group Picnic Today
The musicians began 2017 with the presentation of the new album "Sparks and Cancan". Like previous works, this collection was warmly received by music lovers and music critics.
In the spring of 2018, the musicians of the Picnic group got into a terrible accident. News outlets, one after the other, posted creepy photos from the scene.
Fortunately, there were no casualties. In the same 2018, the musicians appeared at the Invasion rock festival.
2019 was also filled with musical innovations. This year the musicians presented the album "In the Hands of a Giant". It is impossible not to note the excellent concentration of memorable tracks in the album: “Lucky”, “In the hands of a giant”, “The soul of a samurai is a sword”, “Purple corset” and “Such is their karma”.
In 2020, the Piknik group will delight fans with a live performance. The concert activity of the legendary band will be concentrated on the territory of the Russian Federation.
