Silent Circle is a band that has been creating in such musical genres as eurodisco and synth-pop for 30 years. The current line-up consists of a trio of talented musicians: Martin Tihsen, Harald Schäfer and Jurgen Behrens.
The history of the creation and composition of the Silent Circle team
It all started back in 1976. Martin Tihsen and musician Axel Breitung spent the evenings rehearsing. They decided to create a duet, which was called Silent Circle.
The new team managed to hone their skills at many music competitions and festivals. At one of these events, the duo even won 1st place. But Martin and Axel decided to take care of their personal lives. They suspended the activity of the group for 9 years.
In the mid-1980s, the group reappeared on the scene. By this time, the duo had expanded into a trio. The composition included another musician - drummer Jürgen Behrens.
Such a long break affected the general mood of the group. The musicians had to rehearse for days on end. Soon they presented their debut single, which was called Hide Away - Man Is Coming.
The composition became a real hit. She entered the top 10 most popular songs of the year. On the wave of popularity, the musicians released several more musical novelties.
The creative path of the group Silent Circle
A year after the band's reunion, the musicians expanded their discography with their debut album. The disc received the laconic name "No. 1", which included 11 tracks. The work is interesting in that the compositions included in the disc were different in sound and semantic load.
It was a completely atypical approach for the design of the album. During this period of time, a new member, Harald Schaefer, joined the group. He wrote songs for the band Silent Circle.
The group was at the peak of its popularity. After the presentation of the first disc, the musicians went on tour. After a series of concerts, the musicians presented new tracks. We are talking about the singles Don't Lose Your Heart Tonight and Danger Danger.
Until 1993, the group changed three labels. Often the musicians were not satisfied with the terms of cooperation. So far, the team has released four bright singles.
In the same 1993, a presentation of a new studio album took place. The record was called Back. Longplay made up the most relevant compositions of recent years.
Despite the fact that the musicians made a big bet on the sale of the disc, from a commercial point of view, it turned out to be a “failure”.
Group fall
In the mid-1990s, disco was no longer as popular as other genres were becoming popular. Therefore, the work of the group Silent Circle remained practically unattended by music lovers.
Axel Breitung had a "star fever". He stepped back from the Silent Circle band. During this period of time, the musician was seen in collaboration with DJ Bobo. In addition, he produced the band Modern Talking and later began collaborating with the band Ace of Base.
The soloists of the German band took a short break. The musicians toured, but the group did not replenish the discography until 1998. The third studio album was called Stories Bout Love. The album's tracks managed to combine melody and driving beats. This mix determined the style of the band.
The team continued to perform actively. The musicians shot bright video clips, recorded new singles and created remixes. But one way or another, they gradually moved to the age team. A more mature audience was interested in their work. In 2010, Silent Circle celebrated the 25th anniversary of the band's inception. They celebrated this event with a tour.
In one of their interviews, the soloists of the band admitted that they could have done much better if it were not for the frequent personal disagreements that arise among the members of the Silent Circle group. There were periods when the stars did not communicate. Of course, this stopped the development of the team.

In 2018, the musicians tried to return to the stage. They replenished the band's discography with three records at once. Two new LPs were filled with bright hits in a new sound.
