Slavia is a promising Ukrainian singer. For seven long years, she remained in the shadow of the singer Jijo (ex-husband). Yaroslava Pritula (real name of the artist) supported her star husband, but now she herself decided to go on stage. She urges women not to be "mommies" for their men.
Childhood and youth
Yaroslava Prytula was born in Lvov. Almost nothing is known about the childhood and youthful years of the artist. She tries not to talk about this part of her biography.

After some time, Yaroslav entered a music school. Parents supported the efforts of their daughter, because they understood how important it was for her to develop her abilities. By the way, at the music school she met her future husband, the Ukrainian singer Dzidzio.
Yaroslava had a burning desire to get a higher education. She moved to the capital of Ukraine. It was not difficult for her to enter the Kiev University of Culture and Arts.
Creative way of Slavia
After graduating from the University of Culture, Yaroslava, together with Dzidzio, founded the Friends collective. The group, in addition to Yaroslav and Mikhail, included Vasily Bula, Sergey Lyba, Roman Kulik, Nazar Guk, Igor Grinchuk.
Mostly the guys performed at corporate events. The group managed to get the status of local stars and serve as a role model for other emerging bands.
In the same period of time, Yaroslav founded her own vocal studio "Glory". Pritula studied vocals with children. Together with Mikhail, Yaroslava wrote musical works, and also prepared gifted children for all-Ukrainian and international vocal competitions.
Then the team "Druzi" gradually turned into DZIDZIO and began to develop in its own direction. In 2013, Mikhail Khoma proposes to Yaroslav, and she agrees to become the wife of her star husband. The guys played a magnificent wedding.
Yaroslava Pritula-Khoma leaves the stage after the wedding. She only sings on occasion. Mikhail Khoma says in an interview: “My wife says that work is a man’s obligations, and the main task of a woman is to provide comfort at home and keep family warmth ...”. Participation in the musical show "X-Factor"
In 2018, Yaroslava decided to radically change her life and get out of the shadow of her husband's popularity. This year she took part in the casting of the X-Factor musical project. The singer presented the author's composition "Clean, like a tear" to strict judges. She managed to pass the qualifying round. She spent several days in the training camp, after which she left the musical project.
In the same period of time, a colorful video clip was filmed for the presented author's track. Music lovers warmly accepted the work of the Ukrainian singer. This motivated Yaroslav to move on.

In 2020, Ukrainian journalists started talking about the birth of a new star Slavia. Yaroslava commented on what prompted her to decide to perform under such a creative pseudonym:
“As a child, they called me Slavtsya. I think it sounds more Lviv. There was a case when I was once called Slavia. On the eve of the presentation of my debut video "Clean, like a tear" - and this often happens with creative people - I suddenly dreamed that I should be Slavia. The premiere of the first video took place under this creative pseudonym…”.
In 2020, Yaroslav swung to participate in the international song contest "Eurovision". She submitted the piece of music "I am not your mother" to the national selection of the song contest.
She sharply stated in the track “I am not a mother, not a nanny and not a baby!”. The frank image of Yaroslava only emphasized the decisiveness of the girl.
“You need to take care of yourself, not men. If we want to change something, then we need to start first of all with ourselves - fill ourselves with new emotions and knowledge ... "
Details of Slavia's personal life
Yaroslava met Mikhail Khoma while still studying at a music school. After 13 years of relationship, they got married. The couple has been in official relations since 2013.
Rumors about a possible divorce of the spouses appeared in 2019. True, then, Yaroslav and Mikhail did not admit that relations between them had become strained.
Slavia in her interviews gave ambiguous comments that in this marriage she voluntarily forgot about herself, her desires and feelings. In 2021, Yaroslava gave an interview to the YouTube channel "OLITSKAYA", in which she said that she had not been able to build an ideal family relationship with Mikhail. Pritula-Khoma shared:
“I can’t call Mikhail and me a family. Most likely, we are partners, but even this format of relations has the right to exist…”.

On April 27, 2021, Slavia confirmed the information regarding the divorce. In one of her social networks, Yaroslav created a post with the following words:
“Yes, it’s true, we are getting divorced. My family values can be summed up in one simple word, "We". I tried to keep this relationship to the last. I did all I could. My conscience is clear. I am calm. During the entire existence of the DZIDZIO group, I got used to the fact that I should not be. Throughout this time, I tried to support my husband in all endeavors, but when I felt that I was losing myself, I found the strength to build a solo career. I am not a shadow. I am a person. We came to a divorce consciously. We are no longer a couple, but despite this, we remain close people. Thanks to Michael for life experience and creative inspiration. I have written new songs, so wait…”.

In 2020, the presentation of the video for the already popular track of the singer “I am not your mother” took place. The novelty was warmly received not only by fans, but also by authoritative music critics.
2021 did not remain without musical novelties. This year, the singer presented the track "I want a cool man." In addition, on February 14, 2021, the premiere of the single "50 Vіdtinkіv" took place.
