The band is best known for the voice of vocalist Kelly Quinn. Sleeping with Sirens has overcome a difficult road to the top of the musical Olympus. But today it is safe to say that the musicians are the best.

The history of the creation and composition of the group Sleeping with Sirens

The history of the rock band dates back to 2009. Everyone who joined the team already had significant experience on stage. At the origins of Sleeping with Sirens are the former lead singers of Broadway and Paddock Park.

The new team was led by Brian Colzini. Nick Trombino later joined him. At the first stage of creativity, the group also consisted of bassist Paul Russell, drummer Alex Kolojan, guitarists Dave Aguliar and Brandon McMaster.

For a long time, the members of the group were in search of soloists who would form the basis of the team. This issue was closed with the arrival of Kellin Quinn to the team. The newcomer almost immediately had a conflict with Colzini. The musicians saw the further development of Sleeping with Sirens in different ways. As a result, Quinn took the 1st place in this creative confrontation.

In the status of the leader of the group, he gradually gathered new, more professional members into the team. Gabe Baram, Jesse Lawson, Jack Fowler and Justin Hills joined the line-up. It was these five that created a special mood on the heavy music scene.

Music by Sleeping with Sirens

It took the musicians several years to create a signature sound. The band's debut tracks turned out to be very heavy. The musicians worked in the genre of post-hardcore and metalcore. Later, the sound softened a little towards alternative rock.

The first performances took place in a half-empty hall. Soon the musicians signed the first contract with the Rise label. After some time, they presented their debut album to fans. We are talking about the collection With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear.

In 2011, the group's discography was replenished with a new LP. We are talking about the collection Let's Cheers to This. The album did not go unnoticed by fans. Among the most listened to and downloaded tracks of the disc was the composition If You Can't Hang.

On the wave of popularity, the musicians recorded a powerful acoustic longplay and the composition Dead Walker Texas Ranger. The work was warmly received by both fans of the group and music critics.

In 2013, the band's soloists said that they would soon replenish their discography with a new album. To increase interest in this event, the guys performed at the Vans Warped Tour festival. At the same time, the presentation of the new composition Alone took place, in the recording of which Machine Gun Kelly took part.

The Feel album was released in the summer. Almost every composition was marked with warm comments. In support of the new LP, the musicians went on tour. After the tour, the leader of the band announced that Jesse Lawson had left the band. The reason for leaving was the desire of the musician to become closer to the family. On top of that, he had personal projects that required his time.

The place of the departed musician was taken by Nick Martin. In the same period of time, Alex Howard joined the team. The changes didn't end there. Members of the group thought about changing the label. They preferred Epitaph.

New releases

Soon it became known that the band members were working on recording a new album. In 2015, fans of the group's work could enjoy the compositions of the Madness record. The compilation was produced by John Feldmann. From a commercial point of view, the collection was a "failure".

It cannot be said that the next Gossip album restored the band's position. But the tracks Legends, Empire to Ashes and Trouble improved the situation.

The musicians worked on the presented album on the label Warner Bros. After the presentation of the collection, the representatives of the label and the members of the group realized that they would not be able to work further. After that, the group Sleeping with Sirens moved under the wing of Sumerian.

The period after the release of the Gossip compilation was very difficult for the band. But Kellin Quinn suffered the most. For some mysterious reason, the vocalist stopped delving into the affairs of the band. He became depressed and then started drinking alcohol.
