The beginning of the career of the group Semantic hallucinations

The group was created in 1989 and immediately became a member of the Sverdlovsk rock club. When the Soviet Union collapsed, the native city was renamed Yekaterinburg, and the rock club closed.

Therefore, the guys became the last team accepted into the rock club. But by that time the team was already able to find its audience, which helped to overcome the "dashing 90s" with minimal losses.

The band held its first major tour in 1996. Sergei Bobunets and company held a Peace March. The concerts were dedicated to the soldiers who participated in the war in Afghanistan.

After these concerts, the group became popular not only at home, but also in other cities of our country.

In the late 1990s, the J22 club was opened in Yekaterinburg. Here, unlike other musical institutions in our country, they began to popularize high-quality music.

After the release of the albums “Separation NOW” and “Here and Now”, the Semantic Hallucinations group became a permanent participant in live performances.

The Chicherina group also became popular, with which the leader of the team regularly collaborated both with his group and solo.

The "Semantic Hallucinations" group has not changed its composition for more than 10 years. From the moment of foundation, Sergey Bobunets became the leader of the team. Konstantin Lekomtsev played keyboards and saxophone.

Evgeny Gantimurov was responsible for the guitar parts. Rhythm section - Maxim Mitenkov (drums) and Nikolai Rotov (bass).

The band's musical style

Many fans of the group "Semantic Hallucinations" got acquainted with this group after watching the film "Brother-2".

It was in it that the main hit of this team “Forever Young” sounded. In the same film, another composition "Pink Glasses" sounded. After the release of the film, the group became a frequent guest at various concerts in the capital.

In the early 2000s, the group was twice nominated for the Golden Gramophone award. The composition "Why trample on my love" won in the nomination "Best Rock Song".

The group often used space themes in their work. For their work, fans gave the team the name of a star in the constellation Lyra.

In 2004 the team celebrated its 15th anniversary. During this time, the group recorded 6 full-length albums and one collection of the best songs.

The compositions included in the album were chosen by the "fans" of the group. During the recording of the collection, the songs received the original arrangement and sounded in a new way.

After a big tour, which was timed to coincide with the band's 15th anniversary, the band recorded new material. But it has already become clear that Sergei Bobunets gradually began to engage in his own projects.

A decade and a half of work in the same team began to affect the work of the singer and musician. He first collaborated with the Chicherin group, and then announced the disbandment of the Semantic Hallucinations group.

Movie soundtracks

Sergei Bobunets and the Semantic Hallucinations group work closely with many well-known filmmakers.

To date, the band's songs are used as soundtracks in ten films. Among them: "Brother-2", "Forbidden Reality", "Chrono-eye" and "On the Game. New Level".

The last disc of the group was the album "Hard Times of the Song". The band played their farewell concert at the Old New Rock festival in 2017. The team lasted 26 years.

After completing work with his old comrades, Sergei Bobunets began to sing more often with other groups.

His voice can be heard in the compositions of the Chicherina, Sansara and other groups. Gradually, Sergei gathered his line-up and delighted the audience with new songs.

He actively supported the policy of our state and regularly went to concerts in the hot spots of the planet, where Russian soldiers help to restore order.

After leaving the Semantic Hallucinations group, Sergey recorded the album While the Angels Are Dancing. The disc was warmly received by the public and received good reviews from critics.

Musically, the record did not differ much from the sound used by Bobunts' former band. Now Sergey can afford to move away from the canons and add something personal to the compositions.

The last disc of the former vocalist of the group was the album Everything is Normal. The new disc turned out to be complete, each composition opened the door to the inner world of Sergei Bobunts.

In the social networks of Sergei Bobunts, concerts are scheduled for the coming months. The musician has many more plans.
