Thanks to the composition "Cocoa Cocoa", the group gained long-awaited popularity, and soon it became the hallmark of the group "Gone with the Wind".

Unpretentious lines of songs and a cheerful melody are the key to a XNUMX% hit. The song "Cocoa Cocoa" can still be heard on the radio today.

The history of the creation and composition of the group Gone with the Wind

At the origins of the Russian team is the producer and author of most of the compositions Dmitry Chizhov. Dmitry's life cannot be imagined without music and creativity.

Chizhov founded the first group back in 1988. The team was named "College". A little later, the most vicious tracks of the group moved into the repertoire of Marina Khlebnikova.

Several more hits came out from Chizhov’s pen: “A Cup of Coffee”, “Paradise in a Tent”, “Takeoff Strip”.

Gone with the Wind appeared on the stage in 1997. Chizhov decided to create a new group immediately after he met Tatyana Morozova.

Tatyana and Dmitry met in Togliatti, where Morozova participated in a music competition. Tatyana fascinated Chizhov not only as a performer, but also as a woman. This acquaintance soon grew into a creative and family union.

After the creation of the group "Gone with the Wind" musicians came and went. The only permanent soloist of the group was Tatyana Morozova and, accordingly, the group's producer Chizhov.

Sometimes Dmitry appeared on the stage. He played guitar and rarely sang backing vocals. The band's name came up almost instantly.

The team often toured Russia. Chizhov said: "The group seems to be carried by the wind on the ground." So, in fact, the name "Gone with the Wind" appeared.

Soon a daughter was born in the Chizhov family, but the musicians were in no hurry to leave the stage. After 7 years, the couple broke up, but decided to maintain good and friendly relations.

Over time, Tatyana and Dmitry, in addition to working in a joint team, added solo projects. However, the favorite brainchild of the stars is not left until now.

As mentioned above, Dmitry Chizhov became the author of most of the tracks of the Gone with the Wind group. Interestingly, for some songs he wrote only words, and the music was "borrowed" from Western colleagues.

For example, the story about Americans who came to the dance was set to the melody Midnight Dancer by the German group Arabesque. And "Eat Fish" is a cover version of the song "Yellow River" by the British band Christie.

Already in 1998, the discography of the Gone with the Wind group was replenished with a debut disc. We are talking about the album "Poltergeist". Thanks to the first song on the list, the musicians received the prestigious Golden Gramophone award.

Creativity of the new team was met with great enthusiasm. The tracks of the Gone with the Wind group were played on radio and television. In addition, the group's songs were heard from almost every apartment and car.

Rhythmic and provocative songs were written one after another. As a result, the band's discography increased to 7 albums. The most successful, according to music critics, are the albums: "Mood for Love", "Light Hint" and "Star Line".

The band's main hit sounded daily on local radio. The musicians began to actively tour, which allowed them to gain the status of superstars.

Gone with the Wind today

Despite the fact that the group "Gone with the Wind" does not release new albums and tracks, Dmitry Chizhov and Tatyana Morozova continue to appear at themed discos a la the 1990s.

Chizhov explains the demand for the band by the fact that their musical compositions are like wine, the more time passes, the closer they become to the heart.

At the band's concerts, the audience still sings the lines of the song "Cocoa Cocoa" with their favorite performers. It is surprising that the younger generation is also familiar with the work of Gone with the Wind.
