Musical career

Becoming a singer happened in 1963. Then Mulerman worked in orchestras under the direction of Leonid Utyosov, Anatoly Kroll and Murad Kazhlaev. However, he did not become popular immediately, and glory had to wait three years. In 1966, the All-Union Competition of Variety Artists took place, where the guy sang the song "The Lame King". At this competition, the main rival for Mulerman was Iosif Kobzon.

Many of the songs turned into real hits. He decided to give one of the legendary songs “These Eyes Opposite” to Valery Obodzinsky.

The singer's concert program also included Jewish songs, such as "Tum-Balalaika". However, in 1971, his Jewishness played a negative role. Therefore, Mulerman was no longer invited to television and radio. This was due to the fact that the head of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company forbade showing the work of Jewish artists. He cited bad relations with Israel as the main reason.
