There are a lot of ridiculous rumors and speculation around Hoya to this day. Especially fans focus on the theme of his death. The Klinskys died in 2000. The idol of millions passed away at the age of 35 under very strange circumstances.

Yuri Khoi: Childhood and youth

Yuri Klinskikh (real name of the singer) was born on July 27, 1964 in the territory of the provincial Voronezh. The boy's parents were not associated with creativity. The head of the family and mother worked at a local aircraft factory.

Little Yura was no different from his peers. Teachers told parents about their son's bad behavior, and there were twos and threes in the guy's diary.

After graduating from the Klinsky school, he went to study at DOSAAF, and then got a job as a driver at a factory. Later, Yuri, like most of his peers, went to serve in the army. In 1984 he was at home. He had a hundred ideas for self-realization.

He entered the traffic police service, where he worked under a contract for three years. The long-awaited work disappointed Yuri. His friends said that Hoy was very unhappy with the new position. He was required to fulfill the planned targets for the number of fines. Due to his decency, Yuri could not punish and fine innocent drivers.

Yuri Klinsky's father said that when the contract ended, his son came home and tore his work uniform into small pieces. After that, he worked as a loader, builder and miller. In parallel with this, Hoy was interested in music.

The creative path of the artist Yuri Khoi

As a teenager, Yuri became interested in writing poetry. This passion was shown to the guy by his father, who himself at one time tried to write poems. At the same time, rock and roll sounded for the first time in the Klinsky house, which made Yuri fall in love with himself from the first seconds of listening.

Hoy learned to play the guitar on his own even before the army. Although he was self-taught, he became very proficient in playing this musical instrument. Then he tried to compose songs. But all the works that came out from under his pen seemed uninteresting to the author.

In 1987, a rock club opened in Voronezh. Now Hoy spent days and nights in the institution. At first, the aspiring singer worked independently, and then he took familiar musicians with him to the company.

Creation of the Gaza Strip Group

Six months after the performances, Yuri Khoy created his own team. The group was named "Gaza Strip". Hoy named his brainchild not just like that, but in honor of one of the districts of his city, which was distinguished by high crime.

Interestingly, the first composition of the team was formed only a year later. The composition changed from time to time, and only Yuri Klinskikh (Khoi) was a permanent member of the group.

In the late 1980s, the band's discography was replenished with two LPs at once. We are talking about the records "Plow-Woogie" and "Collective Farm Punk". The content of the albums cannot be called bad, and the quality of the recording pleased only Voronezh music lovers. The popularity of the Gaza Strip group did not spread beyond their native Voronezh.

Team in the 90s

In the early 1990s, Yuri and his team presented two more albums - The Evil Dead and Vigorous Louse. In almost every track of the LPs, the influence of punk and rock was heard. The compositions "Vampires" and "Without Wine", which were also included in the collections, were originally recorded by Hoy as solo compositions.

Yuri often wrote songs that reflected his life. For example, you can listen to the song "Java". Hoy adored this brand of motorcycles. Whenever possible, he rode the "iron horse".

Initially, the musician relied on a challenge to society. The compositions of the Gaza Strip group were filled with obscene language. Popularity changed the Klinsky approach to filling the repertoire of his offspring. The group's songs have become more lyrical and soulful. In confirmation of these words, the songs "Your call" and "Lyric".

The country had a dashing 1990s. And if the situation in the country was not good for some groups, then the Gaza Strip group flourished. The musicians toured not only in their native country, but also abroad.

By the way, Yuri Khoi did not like excessive attention to himself. In the early 1990s, few people knew who Klinskikh was and what he looked like. This led to the fact that the Gaza Strip group had doubles who pretended to be genuine artists.

The band's repertoire pointed to Hoy's affiliation with punk culture. Surprisingly, Yuri himself did not consider himself a punk. Over time, he took off his favorite leather jacket, and appeared on stage in classic clothes.

If Yuri Khoi were engaged in creativity now, he would have become a millionaire long ago. In the 1990s, piracy flourished, so Klinskikh practically did not enrich his wallet by selling albums. The musician received scanty money thanks to concert activities.

Yuri Khoi: Personal life

In the early 1980s, Yuri Khoy met a woman named Galina. She, along with a detachment of students, came to harvest beets from the field. Galina interested Yuri, and he began to look after her, though not quite skillfully.

Soon the young people signed. In 1984, a daughter was born in the family, who was named Irina. Four years later, the couple had another child, also a girl. Her name is Lily. Hoi doted on his children, he spent the maximum time with them.

In the early 1990s, at one of the concerts, which took place in the capital of Russia, the singer met a girl named Olga Samarina. This acquaintance grew into a love relationship. The couple spent considerable time together. They appeared at "parties" and lived together for some time. But he did not dare to leave the Klinsky family.

A few years before the death of Yuri Khoy, the official wife found out that her husband was not faithful to her. She had previously guessed that her husband was cheating, so she offered to disperse peacefully. She even tried to file for divorce, but Yuri did not let his wife go. He begged to save the family, but continued to live in two houses. His heart was breaking with uncertainty, but Yuri lacked the courage to put everything in its place.

Addiction and artist diagnosis

Relatives tend to blame the death of the famous singer on his beloved Olga. It was she who showed Yuri the drugs. The musician used heroin. He, along with Olga, was even treated for addiction. But all attempts to overcome their addiction were not successful. Against the backdrop of drug addiction, Hoy also fell ill with hepatitis C.

After the doctors diagnosed Hepatitis, Yuri was prescribed a strict diet. The musician was forced to exclude chocolate and alcohol from his diet. Unfortunately, Hoy did not follow the recommendations of doctors. After his death, no official autopsy was performed, so it is impossible to say that the cause of the singer's death was a heart attack.

The disc "Hellraiser" was released after the death of a celebrity. Loyal fans say that based on Hoy's later work, it can be said that he predicted his own death.

Wife Galina remained faithful to her husband. She did not marry and devoted herself entirely to raising her daughters. Olga got married. The woman managed to overcome drug addiction. She gave birth to the official spouse of the child.
