3OH!3 is an American rock band founded in 2004 in Boulder, Colorado. The name of the group is pronounced three oh three.
The permanent composition of the participants is two musician friends: Sean Foreman (born in 1985) and Nathaniel Mott (born in 1984).
The acquaintance of the members of the future group took place at the University of Colorado as part of a course in physics. Both participants graduated from this educational institution, but with different specialties.
Sean is an expert in English and linear algebra, while Nathaniel has a degree in ecology, population and organism biology.

Sean was born and raised in Boulder and graduated from Fairview High School. Mott was born to a French mother and an American father, Dr. Warren Mott, eminent professor of French literature at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Nathaniel has a brother.
Before the base of the 3OH!3 group
At the time of meeting Mott, Foreman was a member of the Eight Hour Orphans musical group. The future soloists of the group 3OH!3 had similar tastes in music and an idea of how it should sound.
Foreman invited Mott to rehearse together, as he saw in this union something more than just ordinary performances.
Their style preferences quickly rallied the musicians, and they continued to work together as part of their work. Soon the level of professionalism made it possible to make arrangements for local groups. The duet was known in professional circles.
Extended acquaintances prepared the platform for an independent entry into the musical arena in the form of a group. Talent and connections helped in the "promotion" of talents.
Mott took piano lessons at a young age, starting playing guitar at home with his brother and father. He worked as a DJ at 18, playing local bars and clubs in Boulder.
Shortly thereafter, while studying at the University of Colorado, he created his own music.

The band's unusual and distinctive name comes from the area code, 303, which is the area code for Denver, where they lived.
The group enjoyed huge popularity thanks to the song Don't Trust Me ("Don't trust me"), which was released as part of the album Want in 2009. The total sales of the single amounted to 3 million copies.

The second Want album was released a year later (July 8, 2008) under the auspices of the Photo Finish label. The third album (also in collaboration with this label) released the album Streets of Gold on June 29, 2010.
A joint track with Katy Perry Starstrukk, released on September 8, 2009, topped the charts in the UK, Australia, Ireland, Belgium, Finland and Poland.
Personal life
Sean Foreman has been married to his college girlfriend Melanie Mary Knigg for a long time. Nathaniel Mott announced on Instagram in 2016 that he had proposed to his girlfriend, Liz Trinner.
A year later, their wedding took place in the most beautiful place - on Mount Flagstaff in Boulder.
