Two years later, Labont had to leave his team. This allowed him to focus on working with a new project. For a good start, the musicians had to use their connections, then they began to work on the project.

Personnel changes and the first work of the group All That Remains

The first disc Behind Silence and Solitude became available for listening in 2002. After that, the group began to perform "as an opening act" before the concerts of other bands. Despite a good start, in 2004 Den and Michael left All That Remains for reasons beyond their control. Instead, the band members were Matt Days and Mike Martin.

Then work began on the creation of the second studio album This Darkened Heart. It was released in March and produced by Adam Dutkiewicz. Like the first work, the second was also not successful. However, the musicians continued to play concerts at local festivals in the United States.

The group All That Remains and in 2006 continued personnel changes. Shannon Lucas and Gene Segan joined the band, while the current bass players of the band had to leave. After that, the performers began active work on recording the third disc, The Fall of Ideals.

The release took place in July of the same year and became a "breakthrough". The album entered the Billboard charts at number 75. In the first 7 days after publication, the record was purchased over 13 thousand times. At the moment, the record is considered the most successful in the history of the group. The last reshuffle was the departure of Shannon, who was replaced by drummer Jason Costa.

Wheels on tour

The song The Calling became the object for shooting two clips. One of them got into the movie "Saw 3". A few months later, the sale of the album exceeded 100 thousand copies.

All That Remains performed at several major festivals, which became the basis for creating a live record. It contained both video footage and photographs. The group went on tour in 2008, where the team became the main one.

Six months later, the fourth studio album Overcome was released. Despite good sales, reviews from fans were mixed, but this work cannot be called a “failure”. A year later, the team went on another tour, where they took part in several summer festivals.

April of the following year was the start for work on another For We Are Many album. Adam Dutkiewicz again acted as a producer, and the record itself took 10th position in the Billboard rating. The number of sales in the first week was almost 30 thousand, which was a real commercial success. For this, the group was awarded the prestigious award for success in heavy music.

Continuing hard work...

In early 2012, one of the leaders of the group announced work on the next record. Within a few months, the album became available for listening. It was called A War You Cannot Win. The songs were accompanied by clips.

To promote the record, the team previously released several singles. The process of recording the seventh album The Order of Things began only a year later. At the same time, All That Remains worked with a new producer and changed the label.

The presentation of one of the songs took place in November 2014. Then it went on sale, and Phil announced the name of the record through his social networks. Despite this, Jeanne decided to leave the team, which is why Aaron Patrick, who had previously played in large teams, came to replace her.

Work on the creation of albums continued, therefore, in the middle of 2015, the recording of songs for the eighth disc began. Here the group planned to experiment on the style and meaning of the compositions.

The record became available for listening only two years later. She was called Madness, and to support her, the musicians went on tour. A year later, All That Remains released their ninth album, Victim of the New Disease, which is their last to date.

At the same time, a few days before the release, Oli, who had been with the team from the very beginning, died. Jason Richardson was called in as a replacement, who was originally supposed to join the team on a temporary basis. However, he eventually became a permanent member.

The style of the group All That Remains

One of the leaders of the group, Phil Labont, announced that the group plays metalcore. Despite constant experiments with genres, they tried not to deviate from the main concept, while maintaining the core of the team. In songs, you can often hear solo passages, as well as an aggressive rhythm.

The performers created the music themselves, and then took into account the interests of the fans. A significant number of groups paid attention to the music of the All That Remains group, most of which were not distributed in the post-Soviet space. Phil also often talks on social networks about his hobbies. And also about what he is guided by when creating music.
