The Russian singer was born in a small town - Yekaterinburg. From early childhood, the girl was fond of creativity - she attended art school and wanted to develop herself in this direction. However, these plans were not destined to come true.
At the age of 12, Chicherina begins to take an active interest in music. A musical career begins precisely in adolescence. Then the girl decides to sign up for an audition in the musical group "Pea", but, unfortunately, she fails to pass the competition.
Julia did not stop there, and under the guidance of a close relative who had a musical education, she began to sing.
A little later, Chicherina mastered the lessons of playing the guitar and percussion instruments. The girl had a good voice and hearing. A little later, she began to release music and put words on it.
C Sharp is the first musical group led by Yulia Chicherina. In this group, she was the drummer. The musical group gave impromptu shows.
After school, the girl submits documents to one of the faculties of the Ural University, but fails one of the exams. As a result, the student is enrolled in the university, but in the library department.
The girl studied at this faculty for a short time, transferring to the faculty of vocals. Chicherina continued to actively develop herself in music. A little later, she met the leaders of the Semantic Hallucinations group, who pushed her to create her own rock band.
The beginning of the musical career of Yulia Chicherina
The musical group "Chicherina" announced itself in the summer of 1997. It was then that the group performed in one of the major clubs - "J-22". After a successful performance in a nightclub, the popularity of the guys has grown somewhat. They are beginning to be recognized, they are overgrown with "useful" acquaintances.
The musical group "Chicherina" began to gain popularity in all corners of the Russian Federation. Luck smiled at the rock band when the director of Russian Radio, Mikhail Kozyrev, got acquainted with the songs of the band.
The first album of the rock band was released 3 years after the founding of the band. The record "Dreams" is one of the group's most worthwhile and juicy albums. This included tracks such as:

- "Heat".
In addition to the release of the first album, the producers took care of the release of video clips. The band's songs began to be played by almost all radio stations and top TV channels.
A little later, the musical group released the second album - "Current". By that time, the popularity of the group had grown so much that the discs began to be literally scattered from the shelves.
Yulia Chicherina did not stop there. She continues to develop. Life brought her together with the Bi-2 group. The guys were so imbued with each other's music that they managed to record the song "My Rock and Roll". For the whole 8 months, this song occupied a leading position in the charts. After the release of this track, Chicherina receives her first award - the Golden Gramophone.
Before the release of the third album, which is called "Off / On", Yulia decides to completely renew the line-up of the group. But the leader of the group does not stop there, continuing to conduct experiments and bring notes of "freshness" into his music.
The album "Musical Film" is another experiment of the performer. At the time of the release of this record, Julia became interested in video filming. The disc is complemented by a whole series of video clips.
Julia did not forget about her countrymen - the group "Semantic Hallucinations". Together with the group, Chicherina released such tracks as "No, Yes", "Main Theme", etc.
"Birdman" is one of the brightest albums that was released under the guidance of the famous rock singer. Music critics recognized this project as the most conceptual work. This disc is designed to "make" a person think about the meaning of his existence.
"The Tale of the Journey and the Search for Happiness" is the 5th disc in a row. Fans were waiting for the release of this record. This album consisted of such well-known tracks as "Wind of Change" and "Labyrinth Market".
