Era Istrefi is a young singer with roots from Eastern Europe who managed to conquer the West. The girl was born on July 4, 1994 in Pristina, then the state in which her hometown was located was called the FRY (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia). Now Pristina is a city in the Republic of Kosovo.

The scandal arose on a religious basis, since the action of the video clip took place in an Orthodox church, albeit unfinished. The singer, with her revealing outfit, caused indignation among Orthodox believers. The Church violently opposed the creators of the clip.
To all the attacks, the director of the video clip said that all the accusations and claims were groundless. But the video was warmly received at the Video Fest Awards, it received awards in two categories at once.
2014 ended with the release of the single "13". The vocalist tried herself in a new genre by performing an R&B ballad. And I was not mistaken. Fans appreciated the performance, the range of her voice was revealed with renewed vigor. Everyone drew attention to the similarity of Era Istrefi with Rihanna.
Three fruitful years
On the last day of the outgoing 2015, the singer's team released a video clip for the song Bon Bon, performed in Albanian, filmed in their homeland in Kosovo. Published on New Year's Eve on YouTube, it instantly gained more than one and a half million views.
In the early summer of 2016, the single went on sale in English under the world famous label Sony Music Entertainment. Jackets trimmed with hot pink fur and purple lipstick came into fashion - Era appeared in this image in her video clip.
Two more singles were released in 2017: Redrum with Terror JR, and No I Love Yous. 2018 was a very productive year for the singer.
Era presented fans with four songs at once, including the song Live It Up, performed at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Will Smith and Nicky Jam, as well as the song As Ni Gote, which they sang with their sister Nora.
