The popular Russian artist Igor Burnyshev is an absolutely creative person. He is not only a famous singer, but also an excellent director, DJ, TV presenter, clip maker. Having started his career in the Band'Eros pop band, he purposefully conquered the musical Olympus.
Today Burnyshev performs solo under the pseudonym Burito. All his songs are well-known hits not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders. His work is of interest even in the States. American R&B and hip-hop artists often invite Igor to work on joint projects.
The childhood and youth of the singer
The birthplace of Igor Burnyshev is the Ural city of Izhevsk (Udmurtia). The boy was born on June 4, 1977. The parents of the star are simple Soviet workers. His father worked as a milling machine operator, his mother, Nadezhda Fedorovna, worked as an installer at a factory.
Even in the elementary grades, the boy became interested in music and always took part in school amateur performances. He loved to perform, sing and dance. But in the future, like all Soviet children, he wanted to become an astronaut, like Yuri Gagarin. Since the boy was in poor health, the parents tried to occupy the child's free time with sports sections - aikido, hockey, swimming.
Another hobby of Burnyshev is hiking and rock climbing. Together with a geography teacher, he often went on hikes, where he was the soul of the company. In the evenings around the fire, he played the guitar and sang for the whole company.
In high school, the guy seriously took up dancing, especially break dancing. But music still occupied the main place in the soul. Igor, secretly from everyone, began to write poetry and invent melodies for them. He did not show his work to anyone, as he was a very modest young man and was shy.
After graduating from school in 1994, Igor Burnyshev finally changed his mind about conquering space. And he applied to the Udmurt College of Culture, planning to become a director of a drama theater. The aspiring artist worked as a radio host and taught dance lessons to children.
Two years later, the guy realized that the theater did not interest him. He took the documents from the educational institution and went to Moscow. In the capital, Burnyshev continued to study. And in 2001 he received a diploma from the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts. And he became a director of television shows.
Burnyshev: The beginning of a musical career
Back in 1999, the guy, along with his friends, tried to create a musical group called Burito. But he didn't last long. And the group never gained huge popularity. Disappointed, the guy began to look for himself in new areas, he taught dances, came up with productions for the show ballet Urbans, and shot video clips. Being in a creative environment, he met A. Dulov, who invited the guy to become a member of the musical project - the Band'Eros group.
Igor, in addition to singing, was often involved in staging choreography for the members of the team. Having received the first fees for concerts, the musician began to realize an old dream. He rented a room and set up his own music studio.
In 2012, the organization of the studio was completed. And the singer again began to think about the resumption of the Burito team. The members of the Band'Eros group knew that Igor was writing songs and dreaming of creating a solo project. Therefore, no one was surprised when in 2015 Burnyshev announced that he was leaving the group and began to work independently.
Project Burito
The new group Burito began to be produced by Liana Meladze (sister Valeria and Konstantin Meladze). The name of the project was often associated with a traditional Mexican flatbread. But it had a completely different, deeper meaning.
The fact is that for a long time Igor Burnyshev was fond of Japanese culture and martial arts. And the word "burito" means a combination of three Japanese characters - warrior, truth and sword, which symbolize the struggle for justice. The first hit of the new Burito team was Burnyshev's collaboration with the singer Yolka "You Know".
The next popular songs of the artist were: “Mom”, “While the city sleeps”, “You are always waiting for me”. All the singer's compositions are united by a special style, which the artist defines as rapcore. Fans of the star really like not only songs, but also video clips, which he personally creates.
The first concerts of the group were held with tremendous success, the audience liked the charismatic artist, the deep lyrics of his songs and stylish music.
The group was invited to perform in Belarus and other neighboring countries. In 2016, the successful work "Megahit" was released. For a long time she occupied a leading position in the country's music charts.
On the TV show "Evening Urgant", the singer presented his listeners with a new song "On the Waves" in 2017. Unlike previous works, this composition was lyrical and performed in the style of pop music. By this, the artist proved that his musical creativity does not stand still and can be completely different. Then, in one of the most popular Moscow clubs, the presentation of the White Album album took place. It included the best songs of the star, including a joint track with Legalize "The Untouchables".
And in 2018, the singer was nominated for the Golden Gramophone Award for the very popular song Strokes.
In 2019, the next album of the Samskara group was released.
Other projects by Igor Burnyshev
The singer did not stop only at the "promotion" of the Burito group. He can be heard on the radio as a presenter. His collaboration with the singer Yolka does not stop either. Their creative tandem created several commercials for the Megafon brand. In addition, many artists queued up for Burnyshev to create video clips for their songs. His regular customers are the singer Irakli, his constant girlfriend and colleague Christmas tree. And also Igor's wife - Oksana Ustinova.
The artist loves to experiment, so he often agrees to collaborate with other famous singers. In 2018, he presented the audience with the song "Take My Heart", created with the Filatov & Karas team. And in 2019, the joint work of Burnyshev and Presnyakov "Zurbagan 2.0" was released.
Having a director's education, as well as being fond of dancing, Burnyshev decided to make a film about the popular breakdance dance style. Well-known domestic and foreign dance groups were invited to the shooting, among them: Top 9, Mafia 13, All Most.
Burnyshev: The personal life of the artist
The singer has a memorable appearance, unique charisma and is in excellent physical shape. It is not surprising that fans adore him not only for his creative abilities. Even from his youth, the guy was not deprived of the attention of women.
Today, the singer prefers not to talk about his personal life, although he does not make a big secret out of it. It is known that the singer has a daughter from a previous relationship. For a long time, fans discussed the artist’s stormy romance with Irina Toneva, a participant in the Star Factory project. But their couple could not stand the publicity, and the young people broke up.
In 2012, at one of the charity evenings, Burnyshev met the ex-soloist of the Strelka group Oksana Ustinova. At that time, Igor and Oksana were married. But this did not prevent them from periodically meeting at various creative events. The musicians had friendly relations, which gradually grew into real feelings. After a while, young people began to live together, forever ending their previous relationship.
In 2014, the wedding of Burnyshev and Ustinova took place. The couple refused a magnificent public event, and immediately after the painting they went on tour. Today, the artists live in Moscow and are raising their son Luka, who was born in 2017. Igor also took on the production of his wife and today he is developing the Ustinova project.
The couple adheres to some rules and will accept in their relationship. For example, young people do not post photos on social networks where they are photographed together. According to Oksana, if such a photo appears on the Internet, they immediately start quarrels and family disagreements.
Also, the spouses have a serious common hobby - yoga. In addition, Igor is engaged in martial arts. And, of course, he wants to involve his son in this.
