Even during his lifetime, Cobain became a symbol of his generation, and Nirvana's style influenced many modern musicians. People like Kurt are born once every 1 years.

Childhood and youth of Kurt Cobain

Kurt Cobain (Kurt Donald Cobain) was born on February 20, 1967 in the provincial town of Aberdeen (Washington). His parents were not associated with creativity. Cobain was brought up in a traditionally intelligent but poor family.

Cobain had Scottish, English, Irish, German and French roots in his blood. Kurt has a younger sister, Kim (Kimberly). During his lifetime, the musician often shared childhood memories of pranks with his sister.

The boy began to be interested in music almost from the cradle. This is not an exaggeration. Mom recalls that Kurt became interested in musical instruments at the age of 2.

As a child, Cobain really liked the tracks of the popular bands The Beatles and The Monkees. In addition, the boy had the opportunity to attend rehearsals of his uncles and aunts, who were part of the country ensemble.

When the future idol of millions turned 7 years old, Aunt Marie Earl presented a children's drum set. With age, Cobain's interest in heavy music only intensified. He often included songs from bands such as AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Joy Division, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith and Kiss.

Kurt Cobain childhood trauma

At the age of 8, Kurt was shocked by the divorce of his parents. Divorce greatly affected the psyche of the child. Since that time, Cobain has become cynical, aggressive and withdrawn.

At first, the boy lived with his mother, but then decided to move to his father in Montesano. It was not the best period of Cobain's life. Soon Kurt was shocked by another event - an uncle, to whom the boy was very attached, committed suicide.

Kurt's father married a second time. From the first day, the relationship with the stepmother "did not work out." Cobain changed his place of residence frequently. He alternately lived with his relatives.

As a teenager, the young man took guitar lessons. Warren Mason himself, a musician from The Beachcombers, became his mentor. After graduation, Cobain got a job. He did not have a permanent place of residence, often spent the night with friends.

In 1986, the young man went to prison. All the fault - illegal entry into foreign territory and drinking alcohol. Everything could have ended differently. It is likely that no one would have known about the famous Cobain, but still the guy's talent was impossible to hide. Soon a new star was born.

Kurt Cobain: creative path

The first attempts to express themselves began in the mid-1980s. Kurt Cobain founded Fecal Matter in 1985. The musicians recorded 7 tracks, but things “did not advance” beyond the “seven”, and soon Cobain disbanded the group. Despite the failure, the first attempts to create a team had a positive impact on Cobain's further biography.

A little later, Kurt became a member of another group. In addition to Cobain, the team included Krist Novoselic and drummer Chad Channing. With these musicians, the formation of the cult group Nirvana began.

Under what creative pseudonyms the musicians did not work - these are Skid Row, Ted Ed Fred, Bliss and Pen Cap Chew. In the end, Nirvana was chosen. In 1988, the musicians presented their first single. We are talking about the composition Love Buzz / Big Cheese.

It took the team a year to record their debut collection. In 1989, the discography of the Nirvana group was replenished with the album Bleach. The tracks, performed by Kurt Cobain as part of the Nirvana team, are a combination of such styles as punk and pop.

The peak of the singer's popularity

In 1990, the group's discography was replenished with a second studio album. After the presentation of the Nevermind collection, the musicians enjoyed worldwide popularity. The song Smells Like Teen Spirit has become a kind of anthem of the generation.

This track gave musicians the love of billions of music lovers. Nirvana left aside even the cult band Guns N' Roses.

It is noteworthy that Kurt Cobain was not enthusiastic about fame. He was “strained” by the increased attention of the broad masses. Journalists created even more discomfort. Nevertheless, media representatives called the Nirvana team "the flagship of generation X."

In 1993, the discography of the Nirvana group was replenished with a new album. The collection was called In Utero. The album featured dark songs. The album failed to repeat the popularity of the previous album, but somehow the tracks were appreciated by music lovers.

Top songs and the album include songs: Abouta Girl, You Know You're, All Apologies, Rape Me, In Bloom, Lithium, Heart-Shaped Box and Come As You Are. The musicians also released video clips for these songs.

From a number of tracks, the "fans" especially singled out the cover version of the song And I Love Her, which was performed by the cult band The Beatles. In one of his interviews, Kurt Cobain said that And I Love Her is one of the most beloved works of The Beatles.

Kurt Cobain: personal life

Kurt Cobain met his future wife in the early 1990s at a concert in a Portland club. At the time of their acquaintance, both performed as part of their groups.

Courtney Love opened up about liking Cobain back in 1989. Then Courtney attended a Nirvana performance and instantly showed interest in the singer. Surprisingly, Kurt ignored the girl's sympathy.

A little later, Cobain said that he immediately saw the interested eyes of Courtney Love. The musician did not respond with sympathy for only one reason - he wanted to stay a bachelor longer.

In 1992, Courtney found out that she was pregnant. In the same year, young people decided to legalize their relationship. For most fans, this event was a real blow. Each dreamed of seeing her idol next to her.

The wedding took place on the Hawaiian beach of Waikiki. Courtney Love wore a luxurious dress that once belonged to Frances Farmer. Kurt Cobain, as always, tried to be original. He appeared in front of his beloved in pajamas.

In 1992, the Cobain family became one more family member. Courtney Love gave birth to a daughter. Frances Bean Cobain (daughter of celebrities) is also a media and notorious personality.
