The history of the creation of the Lube group

In the late 1980s, there were significant changes in people's lives, including musical preferences. It's time for new music. Aspiring producer and composer Igor Matvienko was one of the first to understand this.

The decision was quick - it was necessary to create a musical group of a new format. The desire was unusual - the performance of songs on a military-patriotic and at the same time lyrical theme, while being as close to the people as possible. Matvienko enlisted the support of Alexander Shaganov and preparations began.

The question of who will become the soloist was not even raised. Since the vocalist had to be strong, they chose Sergey Mazaev, a classmate and old friend of Matvienko. However, he refused, but advised instead of himself Nikolai Rastorguev. Soon there was an acquaintance of future colleagues.

In addition to the soloist, the group is replenished with a guitarist, bass player, keyboardist and drummer. Igor Matvienko became the artistic director.

The first composition of the Lyube group was as follows: Nikolai Rastorguev, Vyacheslav Tereshonok, Alexander Nikolaev, Alexander Davydov and Rinat Bakhteev. Interestingly, the original composition of the group did not last long. Soon the drummer and keyboardist changed.

The fate of some members of the group was tragic. With a difference of 7 years, Anatoly Kuleshov and Evgeny Nasibulin died in a plane crash. Pavel Usanov died due to a head injury.

The musical path of the Lube group

The musical path of the group began on January 14, 1989 with the recording of the songs "Old Man Makhno" and "Lyubertsy", which captivated the public and immediately topped the charts.

Later, concerts, the first tours and appearances on television took place, including participation in the program "Christmas Meetings" by Alla Pugacheva. It is noteworthy that it was the prima donna who first invited the musicians to take the stage in military uniform.
