Natalka Karpa in childhood
The singer was born in Western Ukraine, in the small town of Dobromil (Lviv region), almost on the border with the Republic of Poland. The girl was not even 5 years old, as her parents decided to move to Lviv, the cultural capital of the country. Therefore, it is this city that Natalka considers native. And also because to this day he lives and develops his creativity here.
Musical talent was passed on to a girl with genes. Her grandmother was a famous folk singer. She was even arrested at one time for singing carols in public. The artist's father is also a musician. At the age of 5, the girl was enrolled in a music school. She simply adored her studies and often stayed up late there. Favorite vocal lessons gave a good result.
The young singer was sent to song contests, and soon she became a soloist in the Pysanka children's folk choir. Having matured, Karpa was invited to solo in the popular vocal and instrumental ensemble "Pearl of Galicia". From his youth, foreign tours and constant public appearances were not a curiosity. Natalka never missed an opportunity to showcase her talent and worked tirelessly to develop herself as a professional singer.
Youth and study
No matter how much Natalka Karpa was fond of music and singing, she received a higher education in medicine (the mother of the young artist categorically insisted). Being married to a musician, the woman understood that the profession of an artist is difficult. Therefore, for her daughter, she wanted a stable and peaceful life. Karpa entered the Lviv Medical University, which she graduated with honors. But in between attending lectures, the girl continued to sing.
Karpa did not want to work as a doctor, explaining that she did not like this kind of activity. She continued her studies and decided to study foreign languages and received a second higher education in philology. Thanks to this knowledge, she developed her musical creativity abroad.
Even while studying at the university, the girl was invited to sing in a well-known jazz group, which repeatedly won international music competitions and festivals. It was participation in this team that motivated the artist to pursue a solo career.
Natalka Karpa: The beginning of a creative path
Two higher educations and mother's requests to take up a stable profession did not convince Natalka Karpa. She decided to become a singer. But the path to success was not easy. The Ukrainian stage was only at the beginning stage of its development. The songs of a talented girl, which she sent to production and music centers, were of interest to a few.
Karpa created a studio recording of her song "A viburnum is not a willow." Her friend (arranger) sent the composition to familiar DJs abroad. One day, the singer received a call from Poland and was offered to release a single. Then they learned about her work in the Baltic countries. Natalka was even more often invited to big concerts abroad. And it turned out that she became popular first outside of Ukraine, and then at home.
According to the singer, European show business is not easy at all. To succeed there, she had to work tirelessly. But on the other hand, she learned not to give up and confidently go towards her goal. Thanks to the singer, Ukrainian songs were heard in many countries of Europe and America. To listen to melodic, sincere, mood-improving performances came not only emigrants from her native country, but also local residents.
Popularity and fame
The singer does not have a star disease, despite universal love and fame. The woman believes that one should not impose oneself too much on the listener. Therefore, her songs do not occupy a leading position in the Ukrainian music charts.
She does not give solo concerts at the Palace of Culture or at the Olympic Stadium. But in their native Lviv, all music venues dream of her appearance. Natalka is a welcome guest at all concerts and festivals in Poland, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Canada, Germany and other countries. The audience is always looking forward to her appearance on stage.
Today, the singer has more than 35 songs and music videos, which she directs on her own. All of them are collected in 6 studio albums.
An interesting and very popular was the joint composition of Karpa and the Ukrainian rapper Genyk called “Forgive me”. The work came out atypical for the style of the singer, as she adheres to a more conservative direction in music.
In addition to music, the star is engaged in producing. She helps young artists succeed in show business. Together with her colleague Yaroslav Stepanik, she created the Karparation music label.

Natalka prefers not to advertise her personal life and her relationships. The singer entered into marriage at a mature age. In 2016, she got married for the first time. A luxurious and very atmospheric wedding was played in Lviv in a famous restaurant. Her chosen one is Yevgeny Terekhov, politician and hero of the ATO.
Natalka is 9 years older than her husband. Last year, the couple had a long-awaited child. Natalka is happily married. Now she devotes considerable time to her husband and child. But for his fans he is preparing many musical surprises.
