Singer Porcelain Black was born on October 1, 1985 in the USA. She grew up in Detroit, Michigan. My mother was an accountant and my father was a hairdresser. The girl also became a co-author of the composition "Lunacy Fringe" by the group "The Used", where she performed backing vocals. After that, the performer was approached by Courtney Love with a request to record backing vocals for her solo disc. Black participated in the recording of the song "Actoin!" group "Street Drum Corps".

Marie left Virgin Studios, worked with Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander, and also contributed to Ashley Tisdale's album.

The girl took her new name from childhood memories. Then she was called "Porcelain", because she had a solid collection of porcelain dolls, which her aunt gave her. It seemed to the latter that her niece was very similar to these porcelain charms herself: pale thin skin and airy blond hair. The artist added the word "black" to "porcelain" to enhance the contrast between her personality and the softness of the porcelain.

Development of creativity

The girl appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman in 2011, which contributed to the development of the singer's popularity. Soon the second single "Naughty Naughty" is released, which has been in the top lines of the music charts for a long time.

In 2013, Porcelain Black performed at a private concert in Hollywood with new tracks. Studio "2101 Records" releases five songs at once. The most popular of them were "One woman army" and "Rich boy".
