History of creation and composition of the group

At the origins of the creation of a musical group is a talented person Yuri Muzychenko. The musician was born in the cultural capital of Russia - St. Petersburg. From early childhood, it was clear that the boy had strong vocal abilities and a good ear for music.

Yuri Muzychenko has always been in the spotlight. He was an organizer at school and in his yard. Not a single festive event was complete without the ideas of a young man.

At the age of 12, Muzychenko became the founder of a rock band. As a high school student, he worked as a stage technician in the theater. When it came time to choose an educational institution, the young man chose the acting department of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts.

In an educational institution, he learned to play the piano and percussion instruments. After graduating from an educational institution, Yura joined the troupe of the Lyceum Theater.

At the theater, Muzychenko met accordionist Pavel Lichadeev and bass player Alexander Anisimov. The guys became real friends. They spent a lot of time outside the theater - "hang out", rehearsed and created creative plans. One day, the guys decided to combine their talents and perform in a nightclub.

The debut concert of young artists was a great success. Therefore, after the theater, they went to the stage of nightclubs, where they delighted the audience with bright performances.

Soon the talented drummer Dmitry Vecherinin, musician-multi-instrumentalist Vadim Rulev joined the young performers. New guys have contributed to the songs of the band. Now the music of the group began to sound even brighter, as the enchanting sound of the balalaika, trumpet, horn, trombone appeared. A little later, the group included Altair Kozhakhmetov, Daria Ilmenskaya, Boris Morozov and Pavel Kozlov.

Features of the musical style of The Hatters

The soloists of the newly formed group were big fans of Balkan music, the works of Emir Kusturica and Goran Bregovic. Actually, this is reflected in their work.

The musicians step by step created their own unique musical style, which was in some way an assorted folk and punk rock, which was richly “seasoned” with eccentricity and theatrical performances.

The presence on the stage of beloved soloists (Anna Muzychenko and Anna Lichadeeva) gave the group a special "peppercorn" and charm.

The guys found great support in the face of the Little Big Family, led by the leader of the group, Ilya Prusikin. Ilya was an old friend of Muzychenko, together they led the ClickKlak Internet project.

The soloists thought for a long time about how to name the band, and chose the name "The Hatters". The leaders of the group adored wearing elegant hats.

Moreover, they did not take off their hats anywhere - neither in a cafe, nor on stage, nor in video clips. In a way, that was the highlight of the group. In addition, Muzychenko's favorite word was the word "hat", he used it even where it was inappropriate.

In their interview, the performers admitted that they did not expect such a success. Popularity did not lead musicians astray. In 2017, the Hatter group presented their debut album Full Hat.

Then the musicians took part in the Evening Urgant program, where they announced the release of another disc. On the program, the guys performed the track "Yes, it's not easy with me."

In addition, Yuri shared an interesting opinion: “When three generations come to your concert at once, it makes the soul rejoice. At my concerts, I see very young people, older women, and even grandmothers. Doesn't this mean that the Hatters are moving in the right direction?

Soon, the leader of the musical group, Yuri Muzychenko, presented his fans with a very intimate and touching track "Winter", which he dedicated to the memory of his father. In the fall, the Hatters delighted fans with the release of their second studio album, Forever Young, Forever Drunk.
