Vivienne Mort is one of the brightest Ukrainian indie pop bands. D. Zayushkina is the leader and founder of the group. Now the team has several full-length LPs, an impressive number of mini-LPs, live and bright video clips.
In addition, Vivienne Mort was one step away from receiving the Shevchenko Prize in the Musical Art nomination. The team has been talking more and more about "rebooting" lately. Surely, fans of the Ukrainian indie pop band will have something to be surprised after the guys are back in the recording studio.
The history of the creation and composition of Vivienne Mort
The history of the team dates back to 2007. D. Zayushkina, already mentioned above, stands at the origins of the group. She composes the first tracks and gathers talented musicians around her. In 2008, with the support of session musicians, a couple of tracks were released. We are talking about the musical compositions "Nest" - "Fly" and "Day, if holy ...".
It should also be noted that Daniela has been involved in music since childhood. She was born in Kyiv. She received her secondary education in the capital of Ukraine. After leaving school, she continued her journey, becoming a conductor. Daniela got her first studio work experience in the Etwas Unders team. When it came time to say goodbye to the group, she decided to create her own project.
Throughout 2009, Zayushkina was in search of permanent musicians. Prior to that, she gave concerts, exclusively with session musicians. Today (the position for 2021) the composition of the team looks like this:

The creative path and music of Vivien Mort
Already in 2010, the premiere of a mini-collection of the Ukrainian team took place. The collection "Єsєntukі LOVE" impressed music lovers with its original and unique sound. The following years, the musicians worked on creating a full-length LP. Of course, the guys did not forget to please the "fans" with live performances.
Three years later, the musicians recorded their debut collection at the Revet Sound recording studio. The album was called "Pipinó Theatre". In support of the LP, the musicians went on a big Ukrainian tour. On the wave of popularity in 2014, the premiere of the mini-disc "Gothic" took place.
The year 2015 for the "fans" of the indie pop group began with an acoustic tour, which took place under the banner of "Filin Tour". In the same year, the band's discography was replenished with another mini-album. We are talking about the disc "Filin". The collection is topped by 6 incredibly cool tracks. Among the presented works, fans especially singled out the musical works "Love" and "Grushechka".
In 2016, the mini-LP "Rosa" was released. Recall that this is the fourth collection of the group. In early April, the tour started with the release of a new collection.
In 2017 they reached the final of the national selection "Eurovision 2017". But, in the end, it became known that Ukraine at Eurovision 2017 will be represented by the team O. Torvald with the piece of music "Time".
A year later, the premiere of the group's second full-length LP took place. The album "Dosvid" was recorded at the recording studio "Revet Sound". A year later, with the presented collection, the group was nominated for a prestigious music award.
Vivienne Mort: our days
In 2019, the band's musicians get in touch with fans to announce their decision. The guys said that they decided to take a creative break. The musicians said that the first stage of creativity has ended, and they really need a reboot.
In addition, the musicians said they were ready to go on the All-Ukrainian farewell tour. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Vivien Mort members were forced to push back plans until spring 2021.
At the end of December 2020, the guys pleased the "fans" with the presentation of the single, which was called "Pershe Vіdkrittya". In 2021, the Omana team and Vivienne Mort presented the track "Demons" on all digital platforms. Note that the original version of the track was included in the longplay of the group Omana.
The guys did not disappoint the fans. In 2021, the band's farewell tour will take place, and then the musicians will take a break for an indefinite period. Tour called Vivienne Mort. Fin de la première partie starts in autumn.
