The creation of the team would have been impossible without Spartak Arutyunyan and Yuri Almazov, who, in fact, were in the role of producers of the Vorovayki group.

In 1999, they took up the implementation of their new project, thanks to which the group has enjoyed the huge popularity of the group to this day.

History and composition of the musical group Vorovaiki

During its existence, the composition of the Russian team "Vorovaiki" has changed slightly. The top three soloists included: Yana Pavlova-Latsvieva, Diana Terkulova and Irina Nagornaya.

Yana comes from provincial Orenburg. Since childhood, the girl was interested in music. Pavlova's idol was Michael Jackson himself.

While studying at school, the girl's talent for singing was noticed even by teachers, who recommended Yana to enroll in the ensemble.

After receiving a certificate, Yana became a student at the Orenburg Musical College - this is now the Orenburg State Institute of Arts named after Leopold and Mstislav Rostropovich. But the girl could not finish her studies.

All the fault was the disagreement with the teachers of the educational institution. Pavlova did not leave her dream, she continued to sing in restaurants and at music festivals.

Terkulova had her own story of becoming herself as a singer. Diana initially discovered her love for musical instruments.

The girl mastered playing the piano and guitar, and then learned to play the electric guitar and synthesizer. While studying at school, Diana created a rock band. Together with the guys, Terkulova performed at local events.

In 1993, Diana met the singer Trofimov, who invited the girl to his group as a backing vocalist. Four years later, Terkulova became part of the new musical group "Chocolate", in which she spent the next three years.

After the collapse of the group, Diana was offered a place in the Vorovayki group. Of course she agreed.

Very little is known about the fate of the third participant, Irina. One thing is clear for sure - she was a member of the Chocolate group. She did not stay long with the group.

After Ira left, the group included such soloists as: Elena Mishina, Yulianna Ponomareva, Svetlana Azarova and Natalia Bystrova.

Group members

To date, the Vorovayki team cannot be imagined without Diana Terkulova (vocals), Yana Pavlova-Latsvieva (vocals) and the wife of one of the producers Larisa Nadyktova (backing vocals).

You can not ignore the talented musicians. Work on projects with representatives of the weaker sex:

  • Alexander Samoilov (guitarist)
  • Valery Lizner (keyboardist-synthesizer)
  • Yuri Almazov (composer and drummer)
  • Dmitry Volkov
  • Vladimir Petrov (sound engineers)
  • Dima Shpakov (administrator).

All rights to the team belong to Almazov Group Inc.

Songs of the Vorovayki group

The producers wanted their players to look like pop singers. They managed to collect typical girls. But the repertoire of the Vorovayki group was far from pop music. The girls sang a harsh chanson.

The debut collection, which, by the way, is called “The First Album”, was released in 2011. Soulful "thieves" songs delighted fans of chanson, so there is nothing surprising in the fact that the group's discography was soon replenished with a second disc.

Cassettes and discs with the compositions of the Vorovayki group were sold out at a considerable speed. Some tracks were at the top of the country's music charts.

With the advent of the first two albums, the first concerts began. The group performed both solo and with other representatives of Russian chanson.

Despite the fact that there were changes in the composition of the team from time to time, the fans still remembered the names and surnames of all the soloists.

Moreover, they learned to distinguish their voices on the recording. Photos of the girls were on the covers of famous Russian publications.

The third collection was not long in coming. It was released in 2002 and received the thematic title "Third Album". A year later, the album "Black Flowers" appeared in the discography of the group, and in 2004 - "Stop the Thief".

The Vorovayki group has established itself as a productive and active group. Between 2001 and 2007 the team released not a lot, not a little, but 9 albums. In 2008, the soloists decided to take a break in order to release their 10th and 11th albums next year.

During their creative career, the group performed hundreds of musical compositions, including duets with other famous singers. Girls are regular participants in music festivals. The group traveled to almost every corner of the Russian Federation.

Sound change

18 years of being on stage made themselves felt. The group's repertoire has undergone some changes. The changes affected the style and plot of the songs.

When the girls were asked what songs they most often sing as an encore at concerts, they answered: “Hop, trash can”, “Nakolochka”, “Stop the thief” and, of course, “Thieves' life”.

Despite the people's love for the Vorovayki group, not everyone loves their work. The team has frank enemies who are trying with all their might to prevent them from entering the stage.

Basically, the flow of hatred is due to the content of the lyrics, the presence of vulgarity and foul language. Concerts of the scandalous group rarely, but aptly, occur with incidents.

So, at one of the concerts, some crazy woman tried to climb onto the stage with a knife. Security worked well, so everything was stopped, and the group calmly continued their performance.

The soloists of the group admitted that it was hard for them to be popular in the early 2000s. Back then, they always carried pepper spray with them. A little later, they grew to the point that they hired security guards.
