Yulia Sanina, aka Yulia Golovan, is a Ukrainian singer who gained the lion's share of popularity as a soloist of the English-language musical group The Hardkiss.
Childhood and youth of Yulia Sanina
Julia was born on October 11, 1990 in Kyiv, in a creative family. Mom and dad of the girl are professional musicians. At the age of 3, Golovan Jr. was already on stage and was a soloist in an ensemble led by her father.
Julia combined her trip to a secondary school with her studies at a music school. At the music school, the girl studied the basics of jazz and pop art.
In parallel with this, she performed with various children's and adult groups. Sometimes the little performer sang solo.
During her studies, the young star repeatedly became the winner of prestigious music competitions. We are talking about the television competition "Krok to Zirok" (2001), the festival "Christ in my heart", the international festival "The World of the Young" (2001), which was held in Hungary. As a teenager, Golovan became a finalist in the show "I want to be a star."
When it came time to choose a place for higher education, Yulia chose the Faculty of Philology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The girl was a successful student. While studying at the university, she did not forget about her old passion - music. She graduated from Golovan University in 2013 with a master's degree.
During her studies at the university, the girl really liked journalism. However, the attraction to music won. At the end of her studies, she was lucky to meet the producer. Actually, then Julia began her career as a pop singer.

Julia is always strict about her image. It is noticeable that all the soloists of the musical group The Hardkiss look bright and outrageous. Designers Slava Chaika and Vitaly Datsyuk help young people maintain their unique style.
Julia says that she is a workaholic. The girl almost never sits idle. She needs to constantly work and develop. Sanina admits that summer is torture for her, because her husband constantly pulls her somewhere to rest. However, the spouses fulfill some agreement - they rest no more than 7 days.

In the same period of time, the girl was first invited to voice the cartoon. Smurfette spoke in a gentle voice Sanina in the Ukrainian version of The Smurfs: The Lost Village.
2018 turned out to be no less productive for Ukrainian rock musicians. This year, The Hardkiss received the YUNA award in several categories at once: "Best Song in Ukrainian", "Best Song of the Year" and "Best Album".
The Hardkiss presented the following tracks as competition tracks: "Antarctica" and "Cranes" from the album Perfection Is A Lie.
In the same 2018, the guys presented their third studio album Zalizna Lastivka. According to Yulia, work on the album has been going on for two years.
The disc includes 13 musical compositions. Most of the album's tracks are recorded in Ukrainian. In support of the new record, the guys went on a big tour.
