History and composition of the team Zhuki

It all started with the album "Okroshka", which Vladimir Zhukov wrote on the territory of Biysk, and went with him to conquer harsh Moscow. However, this time the metropolis “did not smile” at Zhukov.

The musician went from one recording studio to another. However, the producers twisted their noses. Vladimir failed to make his group popular.

At one of these meetings, Vladimir Zhukov met Pavel Kuzin, a drummer from the popular Bravo group. The result of the acquaintance of the musicians was the album "To the moon on foot."

However, neither this nor the previous album was released, as the recording studios did not recognize the collections as promising.

In the mid-1990s, after Valery Zhukov met the head of the Bravo group Yevgeny Khavtan through Pavel Kuzin, Zhukov received an order from Khavtan to write texts for the songs of the Bravo band "At the Crossroads of Spring".

Zhukov did his best. Most of the compositions that were included in the disc "At the Crossroads of Spring" belong to the pen of Vladimir. The most recognizable work of Zhukov was the track "This City".

The final composition of the group

In 1996, Vladimir finally formed the composition of the Zhuki group. The guys started recording their third full-length album. Music critics also attribute the collection "Okroshka" and "To the Moon on Foot" to the band's discography.

Only in 1998 Vladimir Zhukov and his team completed work on the third album. But by that time, an economic crisis had begun in the country.

Many record labels have suspended their activities. At that time, the Monolit studio decided to help the Zhuki group in the release of a new collection.

Unfortunately, the studio refused to take an active part in the PR of the record, so most of the tracks were not popular.

Pasha Kuzin came to the rescue. Thanks to Pavel's connections, the composition "Battery" was staged at the Nashe Radio radio station. The popularity of the group "Beetles" began to increase exponentially.

Olga Shugalei joined the group. She actively began to "promote" the team. Interestingly, Olga is still listed as the administrator of the group.

With the participation of Olga Shulagei in Minsk, director Igor Pashkevich shot the band's debut video clip for the hit "Battery".

Interestingly, the first version of the video did not suit Vladimir. In Moscow, the video was being finalized. Aleksey Ivlev acted as the editing director. Later, Ivlev shot the video “Attraction” for the Zhuki group.

These video clips got on MTV Russia. Music lovers could buy the third studio disc of the Battery group in 1999. Since the late 1990s, the Zhuki group has been very popular.

She began to actively tour the CIS. The team has become a frequent guest of music festivals and concerts.

Group in the 2000s

In 2000, Vladimir Zhukov decided to add new members to the group. The updated composition released the song "Tankman".

The track did not surpass the popularity of "Battery", but it did not remain in the back rows either. For about six months, the composition occupied a leading position in local music charts.

In 2000, the Zhuki group began work on a new album. The musical compositions included in the fourth disc were recorded by the guys at three recording studios at once.

In the same year, a contract was signed between the FG "Nikitin" and the "Zhuki" team to record the collection "Girlfriend of a Friend". The album was released in 2002. A year later, the single "Yoghurts" was released, which, like the song "Tankist", also became popular.

And already in 2004, the discography of "Zhukov" was replenished with two albums at once: "Bolt in a Gadget" and "To Kryzhopol Turn".

In 2004, the band had an excellent collaboration with Professor Lebedinsky. The performers presented the musical composition "Komariki" to music lovers, which had been on the air of Russian Radio for a long time.

My battery is almost done?

It would seem that the group "Beetles" is at the very top of the musical Olympus. But for mysterious reasons, the team went into the shadows.

For three years, nothing was heard about the team. But in 2007, the guys again decided to please the ears of music lovers and fans of their work.

In 2007, the group presented the musical composition "Tooth (I love you any)". Later, the musicians released a video clip for the track.

Fans were in anticipation of the new album, but the team disappeared again. This time the group left fans for 5 years.

In the spring of 2011, a new composition by the Zhuki group sounded on the air of the Nashe Radio radio station, which received the lyrical name “Out of Love”. In July 2011, the group became a participant in the NASHESTIE festival and was warmly received by the public.

In 2012, the team performed the song “Let's Get Married” live on the Nashe Radio radio station.

The musical group again went into the shadows, and only in 2014 did the Zhuki group appear at the Night of Live Musicians festival (Moscow, Crocus City Hall concert hall).

Group of Beetles today

Of course, today the team "Beetles" is practically not popular. Old fans who have been watching the group since its inception probably know that in 2016 the guys released a collection of the best compositions “Miscellaneous”.

In April 2018, a presentation of a new musical composition "I can't help but love you" took place. At the same time, the Pioneer FM radio station announced a competition for the best remix of a new song by the Zhuki group.
