Childhood and youth
Zakirov comes from sunny Tashkent. The artist's date of birth is April 16, 1946. He had every chance to work on stage. The head of the family worked as a professional musician, and his mother was listed in the drama theater.

Having joined the VIA, Farrukh is actively developing in the chosen direction. In the 70s, German Rozhkov was the head of Yalla. Together with him, the guys presented the musical work “Kyz bola” to music lovers, which brought the first significant popularity to the musicians.
With this song, the musicians went to the first all-Union competition. The group members easily passed the qualifying round in Sverdlovsk, after which they went to the capital of Russia for the final. The artists did not manage to leave the competition with a victory in their hands, but "Yalla" still lit up at the right time, in the right place.
Then there were many vocal and instrumental groups that wanted to take their place under the sun. Not many managed to maintain popularity. The same cannot be said for Yalla. Against the background of the rest, the artists were distinguished by the original presentation of music. In one composition, the musicians could easily mix the sound of Uzbek folk instruments with electric guitars and electric organs. Often VIA songs were seasoned with oriental motifs in modern processing. The repertoire of "Yally" is songs in Russian, Uzbek and English.
Zakirov managed to study at the conservatory and tour with a vocal and instrumental ensemble. The team traveled all over the Soviet Union, but most of all the guys liked to perform at home - in Uzbekistan. Sometimes the tracks of "Yalli" were released by the recording studio "Melody".

On the wave of popularity, the discography of the vocal-instrumental ensemble is replenished with two more LPs - “The Face of My Beloved” and “Musical Teahouse”. Artists travel around the Soviet Union, basking in the rays of glory.
At the beginning of the "zero" Zakirov took the post of Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan. The new position did not affect the VIA. The musicians of "Yalla" continued to record new songs and albums.
