Grigory was born on July 16, 1962 in Sochi, in an ordinary family. His father worked almost all his life as a butcher, and his mother worked at a bakery.

The artist performed in the most expensive and prestigious restaurants in the city. After performances, he relieved fatigue with the help of alcohol. Several times he met the best artists of that time in the restaurant. They recommended that he go to Moscow and achieve real fame and general recognition. At first he did not want to leave his city. Only after a while, frightened by physical and moral exhaustion, he decided to leave for Moscow.
The last straw that determined his fate was the death of his cousin. In search of relief from the pain of grief, he began to drink and use drugs even more. Frightened by the final fall, he pulled himself together and went to conquer Moscow.
