Elusive musical motifs and vital texts will find their listeners and connoisseurs - this is the main feature of the music of this group.

Creation and history of the team

The band was founded in 1990 by Taras Chubai (vocalist, guitarist) and Vsevolod Dyachishin (bass guitarist). The musicians began their joint creative activity in 1985 in the Cyclone team, but after 5 years they decided to create a new, joint project, Lament of Yeremia, which gained popularity.

The initial composition of the group included such musicians as Oleg Shevchenko, Miron Kalitovsky, Alina Lazorkina and Oleksa Pakholkiv. Over the years of creative activity, the rock group has repeatedly changed its composition, but managed to become a cult on the territory of Western Ukraine.

A year after the creation, the team received 3rd place in Zaporozhye at the Chervona Ruta festival among rock bands. In 1993, the founder of the group, Taras Chubai, refused the title of a rock musician, because he did not share the traditional view of a rock performer.

At the beginning of its existence, the group was accused of being similar to the Jethro Tull group, but the album recorded in 1993, Doors that Really Are, canceled this accusation.

In the same year, guitarist Victor Maisky left the group, and Alexander Morocco came to replace him. In this regard, Taras Chubai was forced to learn to play the solo guitar.

In 1995, the group released the album "Let everything be as it is", which was released in the circulation of the Arba MO. In the summer of next year, the team received the Golden Firebird award as the best rock band in the country.

In 1999-2000 Taras Chubai moved to Kyiv and recorded an album of Christmas compositions with the Skryabin group, as well as an album for the OUN-UPA Our Partisans.

In November 2003, a solo album by the creator of the group was released, which included the Lvov Orchestra, members of the team and the Pikkardiyskaya Tertsiya formation.

Almost at the same time, Vsevolod Dyachishin's solo album "Journey to the Bass Country" was released. The creation of solo projects helped the musicians diversify their work, let "fresh air" into old albums and develop their own musical style.

In this case, the band members managed to switch to solo records in order to maintain the title of one of the most influential Ukrainian rock bands in Ukraine.

Of course, this is partly the merit of the group's manager, but to a greater extent, huge popularity was won by the unusualness of the musical compositions.

The lyrics of the texts are filled with deep philosophical meaning, love for the motherland, even some sadness. This is accompanied in musical compositions, in which the sound sometimes sounds quite hard, after which it turns into a smooth melancholy. Ethnic notes cause a feeling of a special Ukrainian flavor in the song.

Love and respect for the motherland and Ukrainian folklore were reflected in the work of Taras Chubay, found a response in the hearts of fellow citizens and increased interest in Ukrainian art among connoisseurs of rock music from other countries.
