Alexander Chemerov realized himself as a singer, talented musician, composer, producer and frontman of several Ukrainian projects. Until recently, his name was associated with the Dimna Sumish team.
Currently, he is familiar to his fans through his activities in the group The Gitas. In 2021, he launched another solo project. Chemerov, thus, opened himself from a new creative side, but whether his works will appeal to fans, time will tell.
He was the author of music and lyrics for the groups Quest Pistols Show and Agon. In addition, Chemerov collaborated with Valeria Kozlova and Dorn. Whatever Alexander undertakes, in the end he acquires the most status in the musical field. His tracks are "viral" and original.
Childhood and youth of Alexander Chemerov
The artist's date of birth is August 4, 1981. He comes from the Ukrainian town of Chernihiv. The parents of the future idol of millions had nothing to do with creativity. The head of the family realized himself as a restaurateur, and then became a politician. Mother worked as a flight attendant.
Like everyone else, he attended public school. As a teenager, Chemerov fell in love with the sound of rock. He overwritten his favorite tracks to the "holes". At the same time, the young man thought of "putting together" his own musical project.
Then he tried his hand at several teams. Already at the age of 17, the young talent founded his own rock band. The brainchild of the musician was named "Dimna Sumish". At first, the tracks of the newly minted band had a grunge sound.
Alexander Chemerov: creative path
The musicians of Alexander Chemerov's group devoted several years to participating in festivals and competitions. They even took first place at Chervona Ruta. Then "Dimna Sumish" performed at several more events, and won them.
On the wave of popularity, the musicians combined their talent to record their debut LP. Already in 2005, the discography of the group was replenished with the disc “You are alive”. The collection was incredibly warmly received by rock fans, which allowed the artists to present several more studio albums.
Alexander Chemerov was not limited to working in a group. During this period of time, he closely collaborates with Ukrainian singers. He composes tracks for the Quest Pistols Show, and later for the Agon group.
In 2010, Valeria Kozlova presented the long-play "Give me a sign" to fans. The collection was filled with tracks by the Ukrainian artist. It is noteworthy that the top songs for Lera were always composed by Alexander Chemerov. The cooperation of the stars was useful to both parties.
Moving Alexander Chemerov to America
A few years later, Chemerov moved to the territory of the United States of America. Since the departure of the musician, his offspring has practically ceased to function without him.
Alexander assured that Ukrainian listeners do not need rock. He moved to America, hoping to win a multi-million dollar army of "fans". The musician settled in Los Angeles. After some time, fans became aware that Chemerov created the project The Gitas.
Almost immediately after the presentation of the group, the release of EP Garland took place. In 2017, music lovers enjoyed the sound of tracks from the debut full-length album Beverly Kills.
In 2018, Chemerov officially confirmed the information that Dimna Sumish had broken up. Until this year, he sometimes visited Ukraine, and traveled to major cities with his concerts.
By the way, most fans learned about the breakup of the group in the rocker's microblog. Another member of the group, Sergei Martynov, said that Chemerov acted absolutely incorrectly. As it turned out, he did not warn the other members of his decision to stop the activities of the entire team. In his opinion, Alexander spun all this "black PR" for the benefit of the promotion of a new project.

In 2009, the rocker met the charming Oksana Zadorozhnaya. The girl also realized herself in the creative profession. She works as a dancer and choreographer.
After a chance meeting, Alexander and Oksana began to communicate closely. At that time, the girl was married to Alexander Khimchuk, who is known to music lovers as the leader of the Ukrainian group ESTRADARADA. The composition "Vitya needs to go out" is today considered the hallmark of the team.
According to Oksana, at that time, relations with Khimchuk had exhausted themselves. The couple was on the brink of divorce. Meanwhile, strong feelings flared up between Zadorozhnaya and Chemerov.
Oksana divorced Khimchuk and legalized relations with her new lover. The couple had a child. The baby was named Simon. The musician's wife shared this news on the social network, posting a photo of her son, and signed it: “Yesterday, a new ideal Man came to us. Simon Alexandrovich Chemerov. Krepysh 4 350”.
The period of active creativity of the artist

But 2021 turned out to be even more saturated with new music. Firstly, Sasha Chemerov launched a solo pop project. And secondly, he presented some cool tracks. This year, the premiere of the musical works “Loved” (with the participation of “Boombox”), “Kohanna Until Death” and “Mama” took place.
In 2021, he plans to release three solo singles and an EP, several features, five tracks with The Gitas. The artist also pleased the fans with the information that he would soon publish unreleased songs of the Dimna Sumish band.

On February 18, 2022, Chemerov released the song "Korschiy z krashchih". Note that he dedicated the piece of music to events in his native Ukraine. The artist released this work during the Revolution of Dignity, but then deleted the track.

Sasha Chemerov presented the composition "Replace me". It is noteworthy that the video for the track was shot on a thermal imager. Chemerov's team borrowed a thermal imager from the Azov regiment. The guys filmed the video on the streets of Lviv.
