They, in addition to the usual gymnasium, attended a music school, where they learned to play the piano and guitar. The sisters also danced. They themselves chose the fashionable sports direction of hip-hop. Creative hobbies were not limited to standard activities.

Anna and Maria took to the stage for the first time, performing in the twins' vocal competition. Here they, being six-year-old participants, won. Being engaged in dancing, the girls competed at various levels. They received the title of "Champion of Crimea" and became bronze medalists of Ukraine in hip-hop.

The struggle in the qualifying round for Eurovision

Anna-Maria in 2019 offered their candidacy for participation in the international song contest "Eurovision". The composition "My Road" confidently reached the final. The stumbling block for awarding the victory was an uncertain political position.

In the interview, the girls were asked "slippery" questions about the status of Crimea, relations between Ukraine and Russia. The singers tried to answer vaguely, which aggravated their situation. There is already an ambiguous attitude towards them, given that the girls' parents live and work in the Crimea, being citizens of Russia.

Representatives of the media and authorities demanded that the duo be excluded from the qualifying round. As a result, the girls were not deprived of the right to perform, but they were the last on the list. In the summer, Anna-Maria shot 2 videos for the contest song: according to the version in English and native language.

Participation of Anna-Maria in festivals

Not having achieved participation in the main European music competition, Opanasyuk did not indulge in despondency.
